Ok for a quick overnight
Shawn was very pleasant and helpful. Better descriptions would be good as we had no idea that we would actually be staying in his driveway. He does have 30 amp. Gave us a water hose which froze overnight so no frost free water spigot. It’s basically boondocking and if that’s what you’re looking for, then go for it.

Great location, nice lake, semi private. Was just passing through so didn't really get a chance to explore the area. It seems to be in the heart of Amish country which would have been fun to explore but unfortunately for us the time we had Sunday wouldn't work because everything was closed.

Camping with an amazing view!
Amazing land can’t believe how beautiful his land is. Would stay longer if I could have. Paradise off of the highway. He is an amazing host!! Gave me books of the town. Very gracious host. Got there late and it was easy to find everything I needed! On Fridays he has a bookstore that’s open has a lot of amazing books.

Shipshewana Serenity
Okay, Okay, I do not say this often but this place was a trip saver. We had originally stayed at another campsite but realized very quickly that it was not for us. We looked online and this is what we found. It was everything we go camping for. Located on Shipshewana Lake, this place had it all. Great views. Quiet mornings and evenings. Lots of interesting birding. Private since it is on a cul-de-sac. The site is available for Instant Booking and the host responded quickly. He had the area already to go since we left our old site in the evening. We were set up before it got dark.
The place is not lacking in amenities. We had 30 amp service and access to potable water. We did have to pack out our own trash and use our on board shower and toilet but a black water dump station is available for use.
This is really a great place to go to if you like cycling. It is also great for exploring since it is in the middle of Indiana Amish country with all the artsy/crafty/farmy things the Amish are known for. this would her a good place to go to for a few days.
