Creature comforts
Enjoy the comforts of home at some sites—including flush toilets, showers, and a kitchen.
Fallen Tree Campground is located directly next to Chain O’Lakes State Park, were you can use our complementary day pass to swim, hike, fish, kayak, etc.! Your space has access to a shared bathroom, shower, kitchen, dining room, living room, and outside fire pit. Be sure to grab a coffee or a hot tea and walk our beautifully lit trails that will give you a sense of peace and maybe a bit of magic. The campground covers 7 acres and is partially wooded with some mature trees and lots of young forest. We are working hard to turn it all back into native land, one tree at a time. Fallen Tree also has chickens and geese! We would love to introduce you to all of our feathered friends. There are several designated camping areas, a driveway for car campers, a tiny house, and a converted school bus [skoolie]. We are flexible with our hosting. If you are interested in any group events, we will most likely accommodate. Just reach out to Whitney or Jered.

Beautiful Secluded Tiny House
The most beautiful and peaceful retreat. We loved the tiny house and converted bus! The decore is so incredible. The Clubhouse was a nice treat as well. We walked in early morning to be treated to a full pot of coffee and incense! The owners were so welcoming. Did I mention the chicken coop? Awesome! If you are in the area a stay here is a no brainer. Thank you hosts!

Camp site next to firepit!
The campsite was great - private and secluded. It rained for the majority of time we were there, so we did not get to enjoy it as much as we’d hoped. But the hosts were so accommodating to let us spend some extra time in the clubhouse, as we were in and out with crewing my husband for his ultramarathon across the street in Chain O’Lakes park. Overall, great hosts, amazing clubhouse, beautiful land. Wish we could have explored even more!

Driveway parking for vanlifers
Enchanting property+ Awesome hosts!
I stayed at a beautiful private tent site at the end of a winding path through wildflower fields. The paths here take on a bit of magic at night, as small lights and natural decorations help lead the way from main property to campsites. My site had its own small fire pit; and there is also a larger community fire pit, complete with benches and firewood. I really appreciated the repurposed wire spool at the tent site, which immediately became my kitchen table and reading desk. The site I stayed at could accommodate a small group; but it's also wonderful for a solo camper, with extra room to wander about. I really look forward to another overnight stay at this site beneath the stars! The hosts are wonderful and so kind! Everything about the property feels like a labor of love, that becomes even more special when shared. That's truly the vibe here. I took my motorcycle up from Indianapolis along two-lane roads to the campsite (an easy afternoon drive from Indy). I'd encourage anyone to enjoy this little bit of sanctuary from the city. Little note for my two-wheeled brothers and sisters: parking is on gravel or grass, so don't forget to bring the sidestand puck or crushed can!
