This property is conveniently located to the charming towns of Highlands, NC and Clayton, GA where you will find a variety of local shops and restaurants. Secluded Waterfall Haven

Paradise!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dee Dee’s place! The space was even more beautiful than the photos. The waterfall was HUGE and was a short / steep hike from the campsite. Two smaller waterfalls were right by the camping / parking area. Bathrooms were clean + well stocked. Falling asleep to the sound of the rushing water was perfection! Although the creek was a bit too cold for swimming in March, we were lucky enough to catch the toadstool trillium blooming all around the property! Thousands of wildflowers! Will definitely stay again in the summer to take full advantage of the creek + waterfalls! :)

Secluded Waterfall Haven

We loved camping on DeeDee's property. You'd never expect this awesome beautiful place to be a few miles from a main road. The trail to the waterfall is an intense but short 15 minute hike. It's a spectacular waterfall and you have it all to yourself. There is a perfect swimming hole by the campsite but unfortunately the water was too cold to swim in at this time of year. We'd love to go back when it was hotter and take a raft to relax in the water. It called for rain while we were there so we set our tent up under the pavillion for some extra protection. This was closer to glamping then camping, covered pavillions, running water and flushing toilets. Couldn't get any better!

Secluded Waterfall Haven

Great place for camping with kids

We loved camping at this Secluded Waterfall Haven. We were two families with 5 young kids. The kids loved exploring the land, climbing the big boulders and checking out the waterfalls. The large pavilion was amazing, as well as the cooking area and bathroom (with flush toilets). All had plenty of power outlets, tons of seating and a great fire pit as well. I can’t wait to come back when it’s warm out so we can splash around in the falls. But even camping in 20 degree weather was worth it for the amazing scenery. DeeDee was a great host, always communicative and helpful.

Secluded Waterfall Haven

We enjoyed a magical weekend at Deedee’s property. Our group of 20 had tons of space to pitch tents, had access to super clean toilets, and had plenty of outlets to plug in our cooking devices. We spent the weekend enjoying the creek and 3 waterfalls on the property. I’d love to see it in the summer and really enjoy the water play. We did a family polar plunge anyway! Nights were quiet with zero road noise and the sound of the falls was extremely peaceful. We loved it all and can’t wait to stay again!
