Enjoy camping in the mountains on the backside of Pike's Peak with our Treehouse, your own tent, have us set up and break down ours for you, or enjoy our fully setup "Glamping" site which includes a large canvas cabin tent and MUCH more! You will be close to all the mountains have to offer! A little slice of heaven in the mountains for your campsite which is close to many local and tourist popular destinations! Less than a mile to Mueller State Park, just over 3 miles to Trailhead of Pike's Peak, 5 miles to Horsethief Park Trailhead, short distance to Cripple Creek, and not far from many other popular locations in the area!Grab the keys to your favorite 4x4/All-Wheel Drive vehicle, and come enjoy getting disconnected and off-grid while re-living your childhood fantasy of living in an actual Treehouse! Enjoy ALL the Colorado mountains and outdoors have to offer nearby, while being able to stay in a magical treehouse during your stay; which will give you never-ending memories for countless years to come! Be sure you are coming prepared to get disconnected and off-grid from your normal day-to-day life, and expect to come home a changed individual in a positive way. You will have the normal accommodations you would expect from a typical house; however, they will be slightly different in how you use them from what most individuals are accustomed to. There are detailed instructions given for those individuals who are not familiar with off-grid living so there is no need to worry over not being able to try this lifestyle. If you are not familiar with daily off-grid living, then make sure to read and familiarize yourself with everything by the detailed instructions given the day before your arrival date. Do not be disheartened by this off-grid, altered lifestyle, as you will be COMFORTABLE and COZY in this treehouse with your king-size memory foam bed to rest up after a long days’ worth of adventuring out in the mountains! Enjoy the views from the porch or the end of your bed, as most treehouses out there don’t offer mountain views and seclusion like this one does! Built to the structural specifications of a traditional home, so we didn’t harm any trees during the making (we only trimmed tree limbs, and did not connect any part of the treehouse to the actual trees, just incorporated the trees into the build)! Come and re-connect with nature in this treehouse, and book your stay today! *Please understand that the outdoor solar shower is unavailable for use during the winter season due to freezing temperatures. No shower is available on-site during this time. Also, the driveway will be plowed during winter months to allow vehicle access to parking area during your stay at the treehouse.

Twisted Tree Tent-Campsite
Too far from road.
Hike to campsite was too far for supplies. Have to walk to fat for gear. Did not stay. Went to 11 mile Canyon.

Twisted Tree Tent-Campsite
We loved camping at this site! It is a beautiful location, where you feel secluded and you don’t even hear or see the other site. And the stars on a clear night are incredible! I will say that the incline from the twisted tree site up to where you park is steep and is a definite workout packing out your camping gear. But 10 out of 10 recommend, we will definitely be back many more times in the future.

"Glamping" Pike's Peak
Amenities galore!
This place was perfect for a birthday weekend getaway and we can attest to the fact that the canvas tent truly is weatherproof because we got some serious wind and thunderstorms our first night! The bed is crazy comfortable/warm and not needing to bring chairs or pillows/linens was so convenient! Everything was clean and well maintained, and the only wildlife we saw were birds and squirrels! The only tiny down side is the noise from the highway the site sits off of, but we will definitely be coming back again regardless! Also, it’s 30 mins from Pikes Peak and 5 minutes from Mueller State Park (we did both in one weekend)!

Twisted Tree Tent-Campsite
Amazing property and campsite!
Gorgeous campsite that’s convenient to anything you need. Very secluded and surrounded by large trees. The stars at night are absolutely amazing without all the light pollution. 😌 We came from Denver and it was an easy drive. Definitely trust the reviews when they say you MUST have a 4WD vehicle to navigate the drive in. The walk into the site is very steep, prepare for a workout. Once you’re down in the site, there isn’t much reason to leave anyway. Plenty of fallen trees and branches for the fire pit, and they even provided a camp toilet/tent and folding table. 5 stars and exactly what you’re looking for if you need to get out of your routine and reconnect with nature. The land is beautiful and so fun to explore, we saw a badger and some elk while roaming around. Book it!

"Glamping" Pike's Peak
We loved camping at Andrew and Elissa's land. The bed was comfortable and having the keurig inside the tent was a nice way to start the morning. With bug spray we didn't have too much of a problem with bugs.
