22 acres of camp sites and another 40 acres nextdoor to a hang gliders and paragliders landing. We have restrooms with showers attached to a geodesic dome on property. BBQ , water at sites. A seasonal 2 acre pond. We are about 25mi from sequoia and Kings Canyon right off the Highway 180 and a close drive from restaurants, stores. Beautiful views. We strive to make sure you have an amazing experience in the outdoors. We are still working on making the campground 100% so sorry in advance but what we are lacking we will make up for it with making your experience memorable hope to meet everyone soon P.S I got 6 things ask you to do while you are here 1.Enjoy your time here 2. If you need anything or have concerns say something ( I will try to accommodate the best I can) 3.Have fun 4. Only TP in toilets please 5. Make memories 6. Be respectful to your neighbors ( Get to know them. I don’t really have quite hours just keep in mind some ppl might be waking up early to hike in the park)

Dunlap Canyon Retreat tent camping

Greatest choice for camping.

Spencer was such a great host!! Even though we came in late he was still friendly and made sure our stay was perfect. The area is quiet and very good for camping trips. Would highly recommend spending your time here!

Great getaway in Dunlap!

This is a great spot! If you like transformative positive energy, you can't go wrong here. We loved the fact that we felt very welcome, the RV spot was mostly flat land and land, that's easy to get into and out. It's a big property, with lots of room. We didn't feel crowded. The view of the mountains is terrific. - The host, Spencer was amazing. For example, when he learned that we were in Dunlap for an archery shoot, he set up a temporary archery target practice range. And, as luck would have it, my friend lost a few arrows while practicing and Spencer went out of his way to fetch them. - Spencer is not only accomplished in all areas of running this place, but he's also an avid hang-glider. He has a place on the ridge of the mountain visible from his place. He hangs glides from his place on the ridge down to the landing area that he's set up on a field at the retreat! We didn't get to see this, but are firmly convinced that it's true! Oh, yes. He has provided two very nice, clean bathrooms with showers. Go and have a great experiance!

Family and pet camping haven!

Spencer is the reason we keep coming back. Superior customer service, he'll make your experience the best he can. The improvements he's done to the campground between our visits have been incredible. With his vision and skills, it just helps getting better.

Dunlap Canyon Retreat tent camping

Spencer and his family were very welcoming hosts. Spencer placed us in a site farthest away from a group that he knew would be a bit louder. Seems like a small gesture, but it means a lot to us that he even thought about it. The restroom is well maintained and Spencer was always willing to help or answer any questions. Definitely staying here again when we go back to Kings Canyon.
