Beautiful Spot
This site is very well kept, beautiful spot. It felt like we were far away but we were walking distance from Columbia State Park. Host was friendly and offered helpful suggestions for things to see and places to eat.

Squirrel rock ROCKS!
Amazing spot. This property is beautiful – you can feel the passion the owners put into it! Only a short distance from Columbia but feels miles away. The rock formations and grotto are incredible. It was raining most of our time there but there are walking paths on the property and it’s a short walk into town. We will be back!

This place is awesome!
I almost don’t want to share how great this place is! It is pristine, beautiful, private, and conveniently located. Julie is friendly and available, but also lets you be to enjoy her lovely property. There is airport noise, but it was not bothersome and we prefer it over noisy campground neighbors!

Everything. The campsite was beautiful. The host was very engaging and nice. The only thing is I did not realize when I had to change my reservation that I would be charged a fee. Other than that I would give you five stars.

Our experience at Squirrel Rock Campground was elevated from great to exceptional, thanks to the campground host, Julie. Her welcoming nature and deep knowledge of the area immediately set a tone of warmth and friendliness. Julie went above and beyond, providing personalized tips on exploring the surrounding beauty and ensuring our comfort throughout the stay. The campground itself was a delight, with pristine amenities and a beautiful natural setting. However, it was Julie’s personal touch that truly made our visit memorable. From a thoughtful welcome kit to her efforts in fostering a sense of community among campers, Julie’s dedication to her guests was evident. In conclusion, Squirrel Rock Campground is a must-visit for those seeking a blend of nature’s beauty and warm hospitality, all thanks to Julie’s exceptional care. We left with plans to return, eager for another dose of Julie’s unmatched hospitality.

Great place! Clean, trash and recycle cans all close, doggie poop bags and even a Weber bbq and a fire pit with enough wood for a nice fire.
