Near Redwood National Park
Within a 30-minute drive from the Prairie Creek Visitor Center.
We have been a family owned RV Park/Campground for over 40 years. This is a very rustic, old-fashioned campground located at the end of a neighborhood next to the river. As mentioned this is also a RV Park so there will be RVs on site. It is an open field campground dispersed with trees. Neighbors will be present. The river access is right over the levee just a few minutes walk from your campsite. Fishing on the river is allowed but you need a license. We are near the woods and river so wildlife is present. Please make sure your food is put away nightly to discourage critters from coming into camp. The campground is just a short drive from a selection of hiking or biking trails. As well as other attractions like the Jet Boat Tours and Trees of Mystery. Located at the end of a glen cell service in this area can be spotty or non existent depending on the carrier. Wifi is available near main house but is limited to emails, messaging and mapping your next adventure. We welcome people of all seasons. Just ask that you are kind and respectful to each other. Well Behaved Pets Are Allowed. Children and Laughter are Always Welcome. We look forward to your visit. August and September there will be fisher persons in the campground. So be warned of early morning engine noise as they head out to the river for fishing. Electric cars that want to charge there is a $10 fee at time of service. Must make arrangements ahead of a time because 50 amp services are limited. Plus you need to bring your own adapters. We have been a family owned campground for over 40 years. Hidden Gem
Hello Y’all. Just an awesome piece of property. Well kept up beautiful surroundings close to the river and there is even a small air strip within walking distance not sure if it’s usable to Ms. Patti but you could land a small Cessna or helicopter fish boat camp for a weekend jump in your aircraft and go. Awesome showering facilities full hookups are nice. And best of all Ms. Patti is a sweetheart. Very safe and secure location. Thanks Mark and Kim. STL MO.

Redwoods Visit
Patti’s place was perfectly located for visiting the Redwoods. Great place for our two dogs to stretch their legs. Very clean, bathrooms and HOT showers. Patti was such a delight and fantastic host.

Klamath's best kept secert.
It wasn’t a horrible experience but my sister and I did not feel comfortable staying here. It was in an odd place the campground was in the back of a trailer park. The owner seemed a bit disoriented it didn’t feel very welcoming. Wifi is only right next to the house. No service anywhere else. You will not have service until you get down the mountain.

Klamath's best kept secert.
Patti's camp by the river was perfect for what we needed, a safe place to sleep while exploring the Redwoods. We were able to book last minute and Patti was so accommodating and friendly. She gave us suggestions on things to see around the woods, offered us campfire wood, and Her and her big the pups chased off a bear that tried to enter camp on the second night we stayed. ( We booked a second night because we felt so safe and she proved we were in great hands) Overall I think this is the best home base for exploring the Redwoods and we will be be back Patti!! Thank you for a great time.
