Creek Site
Terry's land is in a great location close to Auburn, Nevada City, and Grass Valley. We tent camped in his 4 wheel drive site which was easily accessible in our Jeep in 2 wheel drive mode. The site is on a creek near a waterfall with hills on three sides creating a nice private area.
The site had running potable water, a permanent gas fireplace, a trash can, and new wooden furniture. we could see electric hookups were being run, but are not yet available.
Terry provided a bathroom accessible from the outdoors, a covered deck with seating, and a hot tub. There is even a stocked fish pond if you want to fish (but throw them back). Terry was there when we arrived and was easy to contact if needed.
This site felt like the best of both worlds, where you can rough it or use modern features to your comfort level. This would be perfect for a group of people with mixed camping experience and preferences.
There is no wifi and we had no cell reception (Verizon). Terry is pretty sure T-mobile/Sprint should have reception in the area though.

Eastern Gated
Great site for camping with dogs!
The gated site was absolutely fantastic for my girlfriend, myself and our pup Solo. He absolutely enjoyed all the free space to run and sniff. Additionally Terry had a larger gated area attached to the campsite for Solo to enjoy. The campsite would have easily accommodated 3 tents and had comfortable chairs and a picnic table. The propane fire pit was nice, the price was fair and we also had the option to bring our own. The pool was out of commission while we were there, but the pool deck seemed like a nice area. There were two bathrooms with showers available for us to use, and water. This campsite was slightly further away from the toilets ~3-5min walk, but not too bad! We had a close encounter with a very angry 5ish foot rattlesnake in our campground. This area like all of California is rattlesnake territory, so we can't be surprised, but it was definitely not a pleasant encounter. Would definitely recommend keeping your dog close(r) at night. The only downside to this campsite is there isn't much privacy. We are in view of two of the neighbors houses. They aren't super close but there aren't any barriers in the way. Overall, for a last minute booking we had a great time!

Horseshoe Site
Fun clean and beautiful!
Friendly host and very clean. Best rated by me on sites and amenities. Terry was kind. The pool is amazing and a relief after a hot day. I wish we could have stayed longer but my cousin had a VERY large trailer home he custom made. He accommodated it but was booked up, sort of... he was patient though with us and we had fun. This is a definite winner, not too far from town, both auburn and grass valley.

Orchard Site
We had a lovely stay at Terry’s place with two other families. We were able to use the fenced in site and another fenced area next to it, which was perfect for our cadre of kids and dogs.
The fire pit was fantastic, and we had comfy chairs, a picnic table, and easy access to flush toilets, plus a pool!

Creek Site
My 7 year old son and I spent labor day weekend camping here and it was our very first time camping. This property is beautiful and Terry was very kind and helpful. My car battery died twice and he came rescued us no problem! We stayed in creek side spot. It was very cozy and peaceful. The property has a pool and a bathroom where you can take hot shower. It’s close to Grass Valley downtown and Nevada city. Overall we had a great time and would love to come back!

Eastern Gated
Terry was an excellent host.
Our site was perfect for our two dogs as it was fully fenced in.
Having access to a pool, bathroom and shower is a huge plus.
Would definitely recommend staying here.
