This 85 acre parcel sits just west of Nevada City, CA with the Deer Creek on our southern border and the Tribute Trail on our northern border. Seemingly in the middle of nowhere, It is a 10 minute drive by car to the quaint, historical gold rush town of Nevada City, and about 20-30 minutes by bicycle along the The Tribute Trail into town. The gorgeous South Fork of the Yuba River is a 15 minute drive away. Nevada City has great restaurants, bars, music and theater, as well as shopping and art galleries. We offer 4 tent platforms, as well as 4 RV parking sites. There are no hookups at this point, but there is a bathhouse with potable water, compost toilets and shower with warm water.

A perfect weekend getaway!

Locating the camp was easy and the Hipcamp directions are spot on. I used GPS the whole way without issue. Loren & Scott greeted me on my arrival and took the time to give me a tour of the property, show me where and how everything worked and made sure I felt welcomed as I got set up for my stay. The property has a full function restroom with a sink and hot water showers, a unexpected treat while camping. The tent platforms are large enough for a tent and to have space for a small cook stove and chairs. I felt like I had plenty of room to spare. The tent and RV pads are spaced far apart from each other, no privacy issues at all here! There's a wonderful nature trail that is accessible from the property that in my opinion is a must walk either at sunrise or sunset. It's simply gorgeous. The property was in full bloom during my stay and wild flowers were everywhere. Just stunning! I enjoyed my visit and will come again next time I need a place to stay or just want to get out while near Grass Valley. Thanks you for being such great hosts!
