Site 1 - Tent camp w/o electricity lake #2
Good find!
This was a lovely, clean campsite, and the other campers around me were kind and unobtrusive. I loved that there was no public alcohol drinking, which created a vibe I was looking for - quiet, calm, respectful. My only glitch was the 5:30am truck that rattled around the lake - pretty early for that jarring noise. Otherwise, glad I found this spot!

Site 4 - Tent Camping with Electricity
Beautiful, quiet, interesting, fun
What a wonderful place. We drive here from Florida and stayed for 2 nights at this picturesque site right next to the main lake. Great hiking all around the lakes with wonderful hilltop views of the surrounding countryside. My son and I had a blast just hiking, collecting rocks, and hanging out at the trading post. Loved it!

A Great “True” 1st Time Experience
This was a great place to truly start our camping adventures. Whether looking for just a place to stay or wanting a camping experience, you can’t go wrong with Indian Lakes. The amenities are great.
From Swimming, Water Slides, Fishing, Hiking, Playground Area, Restrooms, Picnic Tables, Grilling, Etc. This place is loaded with possibilities. The safe were great. I wish I could post pictures of the views. We used a truck tent (F-150). Whether a RV or tent, you can find a spot here. We were located on the top of the hill with great views and scenery. You won’t be disappointed.

Eclipse Viewing 2024
Last minute eclipse trip with a 6 year old and 4 year old. This is a private campground surrounding a large lake. The campground added extra primitive camp sites just for the eclipse, and it was still not very crowded. Plenty of room to spread out. There is a large lake with a beach area for swimming and a playground in the water, which my boys loved! Safe and family friendly and I would definitely stay again. There is a bathhouse with showers and toilets; nothing fancy, but better than porta potty.

Indian Lake's campground was beautiful and the hosts were very friendly. The area was so clean as well as dog friendly. We will definitely be back when we are passing through the area.
