Camping on Cloud 9
16 units · Glamping, Motorhomes, Tents9 acres · Black Mountain, NCAs soon as I walked onto this property and to the creek, I knew it was HOME! I found everything I was looking for here: a beautiful and peaceful place to rejuvenate myself and raise my child; a clean water creek for play and power supply; a spring and well for a clean, controlled water source; clean land to nurture delicious food. We (Tender Wolf and I) have accomplished a lot in the 3 years we've been here, and are constantly bringing dreams to life. We're working towards creating a regenerative food forest as well as developing green buildings to house community and guests. We are so happy to share this awesome space! Last year we were blessed to hold space for over 100 groups of people seeking sanctuary and adventure. We've added new spaces and upgrades to existing sites so that we may serve even more sweet souls this year. We've hosted upwards of a thousand of people, and are excited to welcome many more like-minded folks in the years to come.

The tent camping space has bathroom facilities, access to water and trash disposal. The tiny home accommodates 2 people - perfect for those who want to be close to their camping friends/families but don’t have campers. This property was my childhood home and after retiring, my husband and I moved back to one of the homes on this farm where I grew up. We wanted to offer this space for campers to share the awesome views and this part of North Carolina with others who enjoy nature, outdoors, and all the great things to experience in the surrounding towns. Only a 20 minute drive to Asheville where you can tour Biltmore House, Grove Park, breweries, eat at many great restaurants, enjoy rafting, zip lining and many other outdoor activities. The old red barn on property has been restored and offers relaxation loft for your enjoyment.
