Stony Brook is just 28 minutes away and the start of the finger lakes region is about 30 minutes! We run a small farm stand in front of our house with fresh produce, baked goods and local goodies! If you're looking for a yummy sit down meal after a long day of hiking Whistling Farmers pub is a great farm to table restaurant at the local golf course located 1.7 miles from the property. Our full hook-up camp is in the middle of a small Amish community near the Finger Lakes - specifically at the bottom of the little finger of those lakes. Amish buggies pass by occasionally especially on the Sunday where they meet at a neighbors for church fellowship. Our Amish are very friendly and will wave to let you know. There are Amish shops and baked good stands throughout the countryside that are fun to visit. Their shops are not open on Sunday however. The camp is close to the road where it is an easy in and out. We have full hookups...electric, water, and sewer. We are close to Stony Brook State Park, Conesus Lake, Deer Run Winery, Letchworth State Park, and Geneseo State College.

This location is "Dry Camping"; no water or electric; just a port a potty. Italy Valley is a gorgeous hidden part of New York. Be one with The Great Outdoors near New York's picturesque Canandaigua Lake in the Finger Lakes. Our Mountainside Camp offers a retreat for the fully equipped camper who wants to get off the beaten path. There is an Eagle's Nest about 2 miles North on Route 245, pass Coward Rd., watch across valley in a big dead tree about 400 yards away. When you see the nest, you'll know it. I've seen an Eagle perching on the tree. Here, you're within driving and biking distance to the Town of Naples, NY (Grimes Glen Park), and Canandaigua Lake, and all of the beauty and culture of the Finger Lakes Region is at your doorstep: vineyards and wine tours, water fun on the lake... and so much more. Within an hours drive you can bike, hike, camp fish, boat or swim in 7 of the 11 FINGER LAKES (Conesus, Hemlock, Canadice, Honeoye, Canandaigua, Keuka, and Seneca. Keep truckin' and hit Cayuga, Owasco, Skaneateles and Otisco. (or 90 minutes until you reach the 11th FINGER LAKE, Otisco) The camp has come along way since it was established (June 2017) when our Scout Camper came to stay***, with "Base Camp" site maturing with level tent sites, fire pits, benches, tables, port-a-potty. "Hawks Landing" site (1/2 way up the hill) making progress as well, not so much road noise up here. "Eagles Nest"; all the way up is the most private deep in the woods, 1000 feet back! More carved out camp sites to come soon I hope. ***Carry in and carry out. I'm shocked at the liter left by some campers. This is a simple privately owned piece of land that I've been renting out for the lower cost, no frills private location. PLEASE just leave as you find it; most do, thank you.

Our full hook-up camp is in the middle of a small Amish community near the Finger Lakes - specifically at the bottom of the little finger of those lakes. Amish buggies pass by occasionally especially on the Sunday where they meet at a neighbors for church fellowship. Our Amish are very friendly and will wave to let you know. There are Amish shops and baked good stands throughout the countryside that are fun to visit. Their shops are not open on Sunday however. The camp is close to the road where it is an easy in and out. We have full hookups...electric, water, and sewer. We are close to Stony Brook State Park, Conesus Lake, Deer Run Winery, Letchworth State Park, and Geneseo State College.

Oak Hill is my grandfathers old dairy farm. My mom grew up here and raised my sister and I here. The property is just shy of the Letchworth State Park border which gives us a beautiful view of the Genesee River Valley. This area is rich with history and spectacular sights! The property is surrounded by fields and with extraordinary views across the Genesee River valley. This property is an open field which is perfect for star gazing! Since there's not any tree coverage we recommend bringing a tarp to cover anything you want to keep dry incase of unexpected weather. You'll have less than a mile walk to the trail heads of Letchworth State Park, the Finger Lakes Trail and the Genesee Valley Greenway. Stony Brook is just 28 minutes away and the start of the finger lakes region is about 30 minutes! We run a small farm stand in front of our house with fresh produce, baked goods and local goodies! If you're looking for a yummy sit down meal after a long day of hiking Whistling Farmers pub is a great farm to table restaurant at the local golf course located 1.7 miles from the property. We have a generational family farm. It was originally an organic beef cow farm started by our ancestors and we all operated the farm for over 40 years. It then became a C.S.A and now is a homestead. The land has strong indigenous roots. The camping area is a 40 acres consisting of two fields, hedrows, small pine groove, large cherry tree and small wooded area. Whether it's a big event or the Arkport Summerfest, there's always something fun to do, besides just relaxing. We also offer limited stabling for outside horses so you can enjoy the trails at more than 5 different parks. Lose yourself here, or maybe find yourself, among the Hemlocks. First, a bit about the terrain. There is much in the way of forest, very mature, and a broad array of plant species. Elevation differences are vast, land to the west is uphill for quite a ways, and downhill to the east, to Hemlock lake below, so the world here can feel a bit tilted. We adjoin 150 acres of nature conservancy lands that nobody seems to know about. These lands are for respectful public daytime use. We also adjoin 6600 acres of NY state forest which is public property. Exploring all that is here would take a very long time! Want to get away? Welcome to our little slice of heaven. We are just getting started in the camping space, but for now, we're accepting bookings and looking forward to hosting you, at the mission.
