Dog visitors must be social and friendly and thus are allowed to explore the farm with their owners off-leash if desired. The property includes miles of trails for hiking, biking, or horseback riding. Just a small piece of God's creation right on the Saluda River. Come and enjoy the solitude and serenity of this spot on the Saluda River, surrounded by thousands of acres of forests and farms. Camp on the river, in the field or overlook the river from the high bluff in the old growth forest. The gravel road going down to the river is finished, I drive my Honda Civic down daily and no issues (very low clearance). Kayaking from Holiday Dam to the camp site is incredible. The trip takes about 3.5 hours with lots of shoals and rapids. You can also kayak or tube from the camp site to Erwin Mill bridge in a little over an hour. This is more of a river float with just a couple rapids, but equally as beautiful.
