Smokey Acres
12 units · Motorhomes, Tents10 acres · Brooksville, FLWelcome to Smokey Acres! This property has been in my family for decades. My Husband and I were married under the oaks and have had our share of campfires out there. Down a hidden gravel drive with wetlands on either side you will find a completely fenced in field surrounded by pine, oak, and swamp maple trees. There are two ponds located on the property both stocked with bass, bluegill, and sunfish. The front pond is home to many natural Florida wildlife and is a great location to bird watch. Located a few miles from Brooksville and the Suncoast Parkway, this quiet and peaceful setting is just 5 minutes from the parking area and trailhead for the Suncoast Trail and 10 miles from the famous Weeki Wachee Springs, where you can spend the day at the local park or float down the river with the manatees. Withlacoochee State Park and other natural preserves with trail access and kayaking are only a short distance away, and Dames Cave, Homosassa Springs, and Chasawiska Springs are all within a ~20-minute drive as well. Spending a day at the beach is easy with plenty of options along the Nature Coast. We’re also less than an hour from Tampa and Clearwater and two hours from Orlando. A perfect weekend get-away for anyone looking to “unplug,” Smokey Acres is also a great stop for those passing through the area. We are a close distance to many racing, livestock, boating and fishing events. We have no problem accommodating whatever you’re towing! Whether you'd like a leisurely day on the river or an adventure in the Gulf, there are plenty of boating options nearby. Be sure to make it back to the property in time to enjoy amazing sunsets that bring peace and tranquility to your experience. Our neighbors, JG Ranch, offers U- Pick Fruit and Vegetables or a great selection of local harvest at their roadside stand. This 10-acre property has been in my family for decades. My Husband and I were married under the oaks and have had our share of campfires together out there. I've recently moved back home with my own family and as much as we enjoy the land for ourselves we'd love to share it. Any profit from hosting campers will help us maintain our sustainable farm that we're hoping to expand onto Smokey Acres.

Moondancing Meadows
6 units · Glamping, Tents5 acres · Ocala, FLIn 2020 a few friends asked if they could hold a few wellness retreats on our property out of the blue. we loved hosting so much, we decided to do this full time! It has evolved from pitching regular camping tents, to the luxurious glamping tents we have today! When it came time to name our property, we used a cute pet name, Dru uses for me, Moondance, as inspiration for Moondancing Meadows. Moondancing Meadows is a back-to-nature wellness glamping facility. We believe in enjoying the abundance of nature, with a few creature comforts. Our five canvas glamping bell tents are nestled in to nature. All the tents have a beautiful Florida forest view and is located in a private area of the campground. They have all been beautifully furnished with real mattresses, sitting area, storage, indoor and outdoor lighting, along with other perks. In the summer, the tents have battery operated fans and the tents are well ventilation. In the winter, we offer propane heaters as an add on. Each site has its own personal touch such as a hammock, picnic table, or private seating area. There is no water or electricity at the tent sites. This was done mindfully to keep the nature experience in tact. The trails are all well lit by solar lights. We also offer four primitive camping sites around our community fire ring. There is plenty of space for small and large tents and is a perfect set up for group camping with your friends and family. There is a community outhouse like no other outhouse you have seen and a beautiful community outdoor shower with hot water. We have a community fire pit for all to enjoy. If you would like a fire Sunday-Friday, please bring your own wood. If you would like a private gas fire ring provided at your site, it is available for a small fee plus propane. We also offer a kitchen kit that includes a propane stove, accessories, and coffee for an additional cost. Check in time is 3pm or later, Check out time is 12pm Our goal is to provide a perfect balance of peaceful connection with self and nature coupled with a connection to community. Please check our Facebook page to see if we are hosting any events during your stay. We are located in the Horse Capital of the World and also 10 minutes from world-famous Rainbow Springs and KP Hole Park for kayakers and tubers. There is a waiting line in front of the park and at the tubing entrance starts 30 minutes to an hour before the park opens. The park often reaches capacity before the morning is over. It is very convenient to be close to the park to guarantee entry. Dude's Off Grid Camp
4 units · Motorhomes, Tents2 acres · FLWe recently purchased this beautiful property from Matt and Rachel so please bear with us while we work on making changes to this page. The campsites will be as they are listed. I’m very excited about sharing some of this with you. This off the grid property has been in building stages since 2018 and features multiple solar systems. There are three tent camping spaces, and one RV space. All guests have access to our shared bath house with large open air shower and flush toilet. This property is not super large at 2ac but we rarely book more than a couple sites at a time so it's rarely crowded and whichever spot you choose you have access to the other spots to walk to the pond if unoccupied. Only site 2 and 3 has pond views. But at all our sites you will be under trees, and mostly shaded. Our property is primarily 21/up. We do have a dog and two cats living here with us. Dogs are not allowed but we are willing to talk to you about your pet and to see if it could be OK. Our animals are family. It is their home and I want them always to feel safe. Thank you for understanding. We would also limit the length of stay to five days unless we talk and make a different agreement.
