Our second stay and even more perfect, the camper van pitch is secluded and quiet, the decking and fire pit beautiful touches for relaxing outside of the van. We were very pleasantly surprised at just how warm the showers were despite the wind and cold and the roundhouse is lovely. To top it all it’s easy to get to the coast path and marvel at the dramatic coastline. 💕

The land was gorgeous. We had the whole place to presents surrounded by Jo’s gorgeous animals. Jo herself was so kind and helpful throughout and prior to our stay. The instructions to find the land were so helpful. Jo was amazing throughout our stay. We will definitely be back.

We loved staying here. It was a great pitch for our van. The round house was a real treat, especially when the rain set in one evening and we were able to chill out in the cosy and dry.

Wonderful place, perfect to reconnect to the nature as all you can hear are birds and grasshoppers and the service is unpredictable (which is an advantage for me). Toilets, showers and all common spaces very clean and kept in great condition.
Would love to come back.

Amazing site, good vibes and perfect location for a heatwave! There’s so much going on with on site activities, a bar, live music and food trucks! Plus it’s only a 5 min walk from the beach 🙌🏼

It was a very peaceful place to camp with our children. The drinking water on site made the stay easier. The toilet facilities were back to basics so the smell was a bit overwhelming but what else to expect from a compost toilet! We fully enjoyed our stay and would stay again

What a magical spot for our first trip in our new to us (but very old) camper. Toilet and showers were beautiful and clean, the roundhouse is a great space and the camping field and lighted decking in the quarry just lovely. No mobile phone signal apart from on the bench and this made it even better. Would recommend for a real getaway from it all site!

Out of our 5 campsite trip, this campsite was our number 1 site and we will definitely be revisiting again.
Our camper stay at Ruth’s was fantastic. We were greeted on arrival by Johnno (apologies if incorrect name). Their site is really private and peaceful.
The campsite had some great features that made our stay that bit more memorable - a communal roundhouse for campers to gather, a solar powered shower (by far the BEST shower we experienced this road trip - spacious cubicle, very clean, nicely lit up), a phone bench where you could just about get 4G which made you conscious of how much time you spent on your phone, along with a campfire, tree rope swing & quirky compost toilets.
The decor and build of the site was also incredible - really fit the happy camper vibe.
