Willey Lane Yurts

5 units · Glamping92 acres · England
Willey Lane Farm is a post medieval farmstead situated in a secluded location in the hills of north Herefordshire between the village of Lingen and the Welsh border town of Presteigne, the former County town of Radnorshire, in the Welsh Marches. The farm is predominately permanent pasture (usually grazed by sheep) with a significant area of ancient semi-natural woodland, a small area of lavender and a quiet seasonal micro campsite (2 pitches only in a 1.4 acre orchard) with superb views to the east. Willey Lane Yurts now has two 16ft diameter yurts, Violet and Lavender, each of which has a private bathroom and a private washing up room. Each yurt is equipped with a king sized bed with side lights, two chests of drawers, a two ring gas hob with saucepans and a frying pan, a food storage cupboard, a clothes rack, a table and benches and a wood burning stove. Violet has, in addition, two mattresses suitable for children. All bedding and towels are included in the price. Outside there is a dining table and chairs, sun loungers and a firepit. There is easy access to Ludlow (medieval market town), Hay-on-Wye (the town of books), Leominster (medieval town) , The Black & White Village Trail (old oak timber framed houses), Elan Valley Dams (Birmingham's water supply), Offa’s Dyke Centre (in Kington, a medieval market town), Spaceguard Centre (a working observatory monitoring near earth objects), Wapley Hill Fort (an iron age hill fort), etc.

The Black Swan

3 units · Glamping1 acre · Kirkby Stephen, England
Our three, brand new wood and canvas yurts are nestled in our private, woodland hotel garden beside the beautiful conservation (SSSI) river of Scandal Beck. Just a short drive from The Lake District, The Yorkshire and Durham Dales as well as The Scottish Border, we are perfectly located for you to explore. The yurts themselves are individually decorated with full size furniture, electricity and double beds. The yurts are all located in the garden of The Black Swan Hotel, Ravenstonedale, a multi award-winning hotel, restaurant and bar; recipient of 2 AA Rosettes as well as AA pub of the year for England 2018/19. As part of your stay in our yurts you will receive a full cooked breakfast and buffet option included in the price for 2 people in our hotel restaurant. We like to think of ourselves as a cosy home from home with a relaxed dining atmosphere throughout. We are very dog friendly in the hotel, restaurant, bar and yurts so please bring your furry family members. Our beautiful woodland is also home to red squirrels (which are seen daily), protected, freshwater crayfish in the river, an otter (seen very infrequently but the nemesis of our ducks), 6 Indian runner ducks, free range chickens and our two cockerels! (Dogs are very welcome but are to be kept on a lead whilst in the woodland itself). We are very dog friendly and charge an additional fee of £15 for 1 dog/ £20 for 2 dogs for an additional cleaning fee and for some dog friendly goodies such as poop bags and treats. The price of this yurt is based on an occupancy of 2 people. Any other people who will be staying on the sofa bed will add a charge of £40 per person per night for breakfast and their stay. All yurts come with electrical battery pack, chargeable lanterns, tea/coffee, homemade biscuits, log burning stoves, towels, full breakfast included from the hotel, an outdoor seating area and access to our outdoor toasty warm woodland shower as well as our very cute, wooden toilet cabin. Hairdryers are available in the hotel for your use.

Ffynnonwen

8 units · Glamping, Motorhomes, Tents5 acres · Llandysul, Wales
Ffynnonwen is the perfect spot to reconnect with nature and nourish your soul. We're a quiet site with dark skies and campfires, so you can relax in peace and tranquillity whilst watching the butterflies or stargazing at night. We're a tiny camping and glamping site with just 5 camping pitches, a traditional Mongolian Yurt and 2 bell tents. Our pitches are all surrounded by flowering grasses and wild flowers and each have their own sunken fire pit. You can explore the winding paths where you might happen upon a hammock for an afternoon snooze or even some fairies (if you tiptoe!)... We have compost toilets, a shower with unlimited hot water and a shared fridge and freezer. The camping area is car free after set up. We're just a 10 minute drive from the beautiful Ceredigion beaches and some great walks along the Wales Coastal path. We can't wait to share our little corner of Wales with you!
