A truly beautiful place to stay – so charming and full of character. And then there’s Charlotte, the hostess: such a warm and welcoming person, with a genuine passion that shines through in her wonderful camper spot. The surrounding region is perfect for both walking and gravel riding. For food and drinks, head to the pub just around the corner (“The Pub with No Name” aka The White Horse). It’s incredibly authentic and serves excellent cuisine.

Lovely site. Lots of space between tents. Showers and loos are clean. Josie was very responsive and helpful. We missed their sun downers sadly. Next time. We stayed an extra night we liked it so much. You can hear the road sometimes, but we got used to that. We’ll be back!

A beautiful and peaceful campsite. We loved the South Downs setting and appreciated the off lead dog paddock on site as well. It was also really nice to visit the nearby tearooms and enjoy wine and a cheeseboard in the evening. A super dog friendly site and well maintained facilities. My partner and I went camping here for 2 nights (Fri-sun) with our 3 dogs (2 off leash). The staff are soo amazing and attentive! There’s so much space and all of the other campers we met were soo kind and respectful. The kitchen is well maintained. The shower/toilet was clean and I had hot water for my shower. It was so amazing to just have a peaceful weekend away from the world. Before we even left we started planning our next trip back! 10/10 experience

The facilities are excellent, the on site gas stove is something more campsites should have! Excellent showers and loos. The only slightly negative is the presence of farm dogs who seemingly have free rein over the site. Those who dislike being “investigated” by dogs may want to bear this in mind. Also be aware of the odd dog poo on the ground.
