Woodhall Spa is one of the hidden gems of the Lincolnshire countryside and, indeed England. Full of independent shops and cafés, and with an old-fashioned cinema and tea house, there's plenty to keep you occupied on any camping holiday.

We had such a lovely stay at Greenoak. The hosts were so friendly and approachable and there were lots of lovely small touches that made the yurts feel homely and comfortable.
The log burners and electric blankets meant that we were warm over night and had a really comfortable sleep. We are looking forward to going in the Summer to be able to enjoy more daylight hours.
The boys (4 and 7) loved all of the friendly animals and the play equipment on the land, as well as the hot tub!
We will definitely book again and would recommend to our friends and family!
Thank you for a lovely stay and we look forward to visiting again next year!
The setting was just perfect for our family of five (including two dogs and a 4 year old). The Yurt was comfortable, clean and very cosy. The private shower and toilet facilities were great, as was the hot tub.
We had a trip to the local nature reserve during our stay, however think our daughter and the dogs were just as happy in the grounds with lots to explore, very friendly animals and lots of activities including trampoline and climbing walls.
Thank you.
My grandchildren and I have stayed at Brakehill Lodge Farm twice. It has proved to be our happy place. Peaceful, and just remote enough to escape the madding crowd.
Clare is a considerate host. She loves her home and all the nature it encompasses.
Try it...you will love ir too.😀
I love this campsite. It's been quiet the few times I've been. A little gem that's affordable clean toilets and showers. Owners are really lovely and polite and sell bloody good firewood!
This is glamping at its most peaceful! simple, natural, and a chance to switch off and just be. We loved the freedom, the beauty, and the little sense of wilderness while still having a few comforts to make it easy with kids.
Sarah added so many extra thoughtful touches, the shower had great pressure and was hot and the beds were snuggly and comfy!
Would we go back? 100% yes. Iris stole our hearts. 🚌💚
We stayed in a bell tent in Archer’s Field and absolutely loved it. This is our second time to this beautiful site and we’ll definitely return. Peter and his wife work hard to ensure everything runs smoothly and are really friendly and approachable. The site is quiet and there’s plenty of space between pitches. Our dog had a great time.
Beautiful setting with friendly animals to feed, I would recommend for a relaxed getaway. The gardens are perfect for children to explore and play, securely fenced with park facilities.
Really lovely, quiet location. First time camoing with the grandchildren and Iris was a real hit!
Thank you to Sarah for all of the little touches - made it very special.
We absolutely loved our stay at Iris! If you're looking for a peacful and quiet escape from the city chaos, look no further! It's in a beautiful location, everything you need is provided, and it's very welcoming for dogs too. On top of everything, Sarah is just THE best host - we had some last minute change of plans and she was extremely accommodating and helpful with everything 😃 We are definitely looking to come back!
We stayed in the absolutely gorgeous Flint Treehouse. My almost two year old had the time of her life. We only stayed three days but I feel like I've had a two week retreat. Heaven. Thank you.
Beautiful use of space.
We had a lovely pre-Christmas stay and would highly recommend! The yurt was beautiful inside, spotless and had all the essentials.
The beds were super comfy and the electric blanket helped keep us warm in the night. Mini fridge, small dining area and plenty of blankets for the colder nights. The bathroom facilities were also spotless and we all had fantastic hot showers which were very much appreciated.
Kids loved seeing the donkeys in the mornings and there were plenty of outdoor toys for them to play with.
We travelled into York both days which was about a 35 minute drive. Nearby towns had plenty of takeaways etc.
Would 100% visit again!

Full of independent shops and cafés, and with an old-fashioned cinema and tea house (just across the road from a popular campsite), it has an interesting history as an Edwardian spa town and was also the base for the RAF 617 (Dambuster) Squadron.
