The true Gem of Crescent City
What in the world - this is one of my favorite hip camps ever. Hanya was so accommodating when issues on the road delayed our plans. The fellow who is cultivating the land into a beautiful, whimsical Eden (his name is Dar) was so friendly and helpful, with some local suggestions and Redwood Park suggestions. We loved the extra space to roam around the property and in the back forest. She shower situation is dreamy, cordoned off in a back corner of a lush greenhouse. It’s a rustic stay, just how we like it. And would recommend and stay again while passing through.

immersive farm camping
This was an awesome place to camp. Not only was the location perfect and facilities great, Dar and Hanya were amazing hosts. Hanya was very responsive and kind and Dar was the best we could ask for. Dar went out of his way to make us feel welcome and ensure we had everything we needed on arrival. The bathroom was new and clean and the shower in the greenhouse was the best. Having a hot shower surrounded by the sights and smells of plants after long days of hiking and camping was superb. In addition, Dar shared with us his efforts on the farm and the amazing work he is doing. Our three kids were invited to work next to him in his tasks and they loved taking part. We cherish the time we were able to spend on the farm and look forward to retuning.

Hanya’s land is beautiful and comforting to be on. I especially liked hanging out in the greenhouse while the storm was passing over. It was warm and cozy and I even got to pick some flowers for my drive back home. The bathroom was clean and very fun to take a shower in the greenhouse. I highly suggest Ossia farm and hope to return in the summer when everything is in bloom!

answering the HMMMM.... question
The prison alarm and loudspeaker announcements at dawn were a little weird. We were there on a very rainy night which was loud in the Dome. However, we are pretty flexible and enjoyed the quirkiness but not everyone would. Also, there was no running hot water in the shared kitchen. The Dome was perfect for our needs on this trip, but I don't think I would recommend to others without mentioning the prison proximity.

We had an absolutely incredible stay on this gorgeous land! The amenities in the dome tent we stayed in were incredible, it was so lovely getting to explore, and Dar was a super fun and kind gentleman who gave us lovely guidance to make our trip memorable. Could not recommend more and if we make another trip to the redwoods you can sure bet we’ll be staying here again
