Great location with a stream through it and a pond close by. Close to the National park for good hiking. Jaclyn was very responsive and provided some fun extras to make our trip great!

Jaclyn was very helpful and accommodating with everything that was needed to know about the campsite. I booked this location very last second with little-no planning and this site was available, Jaclyn quickly answered all questions and accommodated changes in my schedule as they arose. Jaclyn is an excellent host as she provided some often over-looked but essential supplies that helped us immensely. Would definitely recommend this location if you’re trying to escape for a weekend.

Little Trickle Camp
Would 100 out of 100 recommend this site. My partner, myself and our two pups had an amazing time spent here over the Thanksgiving weekend. The little tote full of goodies and firewood left was perfect for us. The owner was very easy to communicate with and took out all the stops to make sure we had a great time. The area has lots of opportunities for fun activities which we enjoyed like fishing and hiking. We'll be back!

Booked one night very last minute and everything worked wonderfully. Easy to find, exactly as described. Some of the “bucket” items came in very handy and it was nice to have the table, chairs, and grill plate for the fire pit to make things easier on us. Also great trees for hanging hammocks.

10/10 would camp here again! Was a wonderful little spot, clean, big fire pit, chairs, lights, and other amenities one might forget or need extra of were provided, including a few written directions to local landmarks/hikes, easy to communicate with host, and the perfect fall weekend for leaf peeping!! Hope to be back soon!

This was a great spot! The campsite felt very secluded and peaceful, and we loved the ambience that the creek and footbridge provided. The fire ring was great— as were the chairs & picnic table. The inclusion of supplies (hike maps, hand sanitizer, etc.) was thoughtful and the port-a-potty was clean enough. Wonderful find, especially given that it is only an hour and a half from DC! Hoping we can come back in the summer!

We loved tent camping at Jaclyn’s site! It’s quiet and so peaceful. We literally did not see another human (besides the occasional car driving by). The site itself was perfect: big firepit, chairs, picnic table and the necessities (lantern, hand sanitizer, skewers - all provided!) As a lady, I loved that there was a port-a-potty up the hill :) can’t recommend enough. We will definitely be back!

Little trickle camp was absolutely perfect! Jaclyn was so communicative and nice. We loved that it was dog friendly and the seclusion it provided. We were able to do two hikes while we were there and the Woodstock tower that Jaclyn recommended has a gorgeous view! 10/10 would definitely recommend! :)

We loved the privacy this site provided! Jaclyn was quick to respond to any questions or needs we had. The kids enjoyed exploring the woods and creek. We would definitely stay again and had a great time, despite all the rain!

Wonderful campsite. Very private and well kept! It was very far from any other campers and we couldn’t see anyone. Jaclyn left some essentials including fire wood, trash bags, bug spray, and hand sanitizer! Would definitely recommend. There is no cell service which I prefer when camping. 100% would come back again. We loved our stay 😊

Nice peaceful campsite, easy to find, and good communication with the host. Our roomy four person tent fit well at the site, and there would be room for a hammock or another smaller tent as well.

I had an incredible time tent camping at Jaclyn’s site! The site is super spacious, private, and laid out very thoughtfully and the location is perfect for exploring the many great hikes, etc. in the area. Jaclyn is also such an awesome host; very responsive and informative when needed and the tips and info she shared ahead of my stay were also super helpful. Highly recommend for sure!

The campsite is absolutely perfect for a secluded night away with everything you need! The energy of the site was very pure and welcoming. Even with bad weather we were still able to enjoy ourselves. 10/10 recommend! Jaclyn is also a great host, very personable and has the best intentions for you!

When my two girlfriends and I booked this space, we were looking for a secluded woodsy spot (at least far enough away that you coulfn't see other campers or homes) big enough for our three tents, a fire, and our three dogs. Little Trickle Camp was just that! The space was just big enough for three two-person tents (our dogs are so lucky we share) and there's a fire pit already setup with firewood for use, a grill grate available for cooking, and a picnic table with additional chairs for sitting around the camp fire (so no need to bring your own). It's also right next to creek - a built-in noise machine! Jaclyn left a a gift basket of goodies to use like lanterns, batteries, and a list of hikes in the area. There's also a porta potty available for use and we had enough space to park three cars (if one parks perpendicular behind the other two). Finally, Jaclyn is extremely communicative, provided coordinates so you know exactly where to go, and was quick to answer our questions about parking. We'll definitely be back!

We loved the tent camping set up here! Felt close enough to civilization but remote enough to reset and relax. Loved sleeping by the creek and letting our pup explore the forest! Thankful for a great place to stay!

This campsite was the perfect spot for a quick getaway from the city! Everything was clearly marked, the host was friendly and responsive, and there were thoughtful touches such as camping necessities and stacked firewood. I hope to camp here again soon, and would certainly recommend it to others!

Little Trickle Camp is me and my partner's new favorite getaway. Private but not too far away from civilization, BEAUTIFUL woods and creek, and Jaclyn was of course absolutely phenomenal with communication and making sure we were comfortable during our stay. My partner said this was his first time feeling sad leaving a campsite, and we definitely took our time packing up. We cannot wait to come back!

We really enjoyed the site - it's private, well-stocked, and has a gorgeous creek that we weren't expecting. Jacyln communicated everything we needed to know, and provided us with some great amenities at the site. The site itself has chairs, so you don't have to bring your own, a h u g e fire pit, and a picnic table - everything you didn't want to lug into your car. Excellent location in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley - would definitely stay again.

This was a great site with a huge fire pit with a grill top, table and chairs all set up! The fire wood stock was massive plenty to keep me warm which was great because it was 14 degrees out the night I was there. There is lots of great hikes to do very near the site. I will definitely stay there again.

We visited right when the leaves were beginning to turn and stayed during an especially windy evening. Our campsite was super comfortable and provided us with a ton of amenities. There was a bin with camping supplies waiting for us at our picnic table that had the little details you would absolutely hate to forget like toilet paper, bug spray, and hand sanitizer. The fire pit at this site is awesome! It’s huge and we had wood in the ring waiting to be lit when we arrived. There’s also a huge stack of wood at the site, so we had plenty to keep us warm. There are plenty of trees to hang your hammock on and there’s a nearby hike (2 miles RT) that we were given directions for (you can also drive if you prefer). Communication was a breeze and we were given gps coordinates that made finding our parking spot pretty easy. It’s well-marked and there’s room enough for two cars. Two chairs were provided at our site around the fire pit and there is a portable toilet at the top of the campsite. From your parking spot, you’ll cross over a little bridge and find the site tucked under some gorgeous trees. We would absolutely stay here again!

A bit belated - stayed at this cute private spot September 24th-26th. We arrived just before dusk but we were able to set up camp in no time! It was so peaceful to have the trickling stream within a rocks throwing distance. It was a bit cold (in the 40s/super low for September usually in VA) but we managed to have a fire going to keep us toasty and cozy. Jaclyn was super informative and sweet when it came to any concerns I had (which were little too none!) I am planning to go back to this gem in the mountains next year!
