The space is very well maintained and is beautiful.
The space is clearly marked and directions are accurate.
We stayed at site 5, a short walk to the river (less than a minute from the site down a gentle slope).
For end of summer, it was perfect and open.
For hotter months, this is just something to consider (see below regarding other sites).
The tent platform had tie off points and there is a food prep area, a picnic table and a folded grill grate for cooking.
We roamed the vast space and saw sites 1, 2, and 3, which are all closer to the water and also look like excellent spots with shade for summer, also well maintained.
There's a bench swing at the top of the hill overlooking 1, 2, and 3 and a bench on another hill.
I feel like the hosts must have done Hipcamp before and decided they were going to make their place exceptional for their guests, which they definitely did for us.
Road noise was minimal and distant.
Geese, ducks and heron on the river, as well as deer.
