He is offer Wi-Fi on the camp site but on the site where we’ve been doesn’t worked at all. There is barely normal service,so be prepared. I pick this camp because of the Wi-Fi, so I can work little bit on our 6 weeks road trip . Well,I can’t so we leave one day earlier. I love dogs and I am a Border Collie breeder,but even this site is dog friendly I don’t like there was dog barking nonstop. And so many cars going around the camp site. Not on the main road but right next to our site on the dirt road. Even in the middle of the night. I didn’t feel safe there.

Absolutely perfect site, we cooked some steaks over the fire and under the stars. Wonderful spot, our host James was very attentive as well.

Unfortunately our campervan broke down so we were not able to stay at the site and thus we have no review for it. I updated James twice of our circumstances but I did not hear back.

Great campsite about 30min south of the Grand Canyon and 45min from Flagstaff. Our site (#3) was equipped with a fire pit, small picnic table, and hammock. There is a shared outhouse, shower and sink. The shower was not in season for our trip (but we had no desire to shower in freezing cold temps). The campsite is just off the highway and is easily accessible even for sedan type cars that are lower to the ground. Highly recommend a stay here!

Perfect location to the Grand Canyon. Communicative host. Clean restroom, hot showers. The wifi didn’t work but was fine for me. Will definitely be coming back in the future.

The campsite is on beautiful land and was a close drive to the Grand Canyon and some of the best hiking in the country. If you enjoy a little bit of off-roading there are a plethora of trails nearby to explore. We very much enjoyed our stay, and the shower and toilet met our standards perfectly. We highly recommend Shaded Pine!

Great little spot on the way to Grand Canyon! Would stay again. It is a little close to the highway so you can hear the cars go by - didn’t bug us but it’s worth noting.

This was a great place to stay away from the crowds and off the grid. The trip to GC is short despite what the miles may say, and we had not problem getting there before the park got busy, even after taking time for breakfast.
James has done a great job providing some basics (like a shower) that are great after a hot day! Keep in mind this is out there camping so there's dirt, but the host has laid down some lava rock to help keep it under control.

Location is great, 30 minutes from Grand Canyon National Park. Site is reachable via a dirt road, but close to the main road so no need to worry about your car. Contact with host is quick and friendly.
Unfortunately during our 2-day stay the shower didn’t work on the first morning. James fixed this after we notified him about it. We also booked a telescope which wasn’t available to us on the second day because it was given to other people… We did get a refund for it, but this was not what we booked and expected.

We had so much fun during our visit to James' land. James was such a wonderful host - very communicative and easy to get ahold of. We were surprised at how big the site was and loved all of the beautiful trees and our very own hammock. The common space was a huge bonus - there was a grill, yard games, outdoor and indoor shower, a sink with fuel for stoves, and pretty much everything we could possibly need for our stay. After dark the common area was all lit by solar lights, which was beautiful and helpful to find our way around. The location was also perfect, right off the main road, making it very easy to find. We could not recommend this place enough - it was simply stunning!

I stayed here (site 3) for two nights while on my solo adventures through AZ on my way to the Grand Canyon. It was quiet, plenty of trees and shrubs for privacy. There is a toilet, and shower in the bathroom. I really liked that there was a kitchen to wash my dishes. Jaime was quick to respond to my questions and even checked in to make sure I was ok. I'm thankful he mentioned it gets COLD at night in April so I was definitely prepared. The spot has a fire pit, picnic table, and hammock which is nice. I will definitely stay here next time I visit the GC.

James' Yurt was just perfect! Two of us fit comfortably and thankfully there was a propane heater for the chilly desert nights. The outdoor shower was a welcome amenity after long hot days at the Grand Canyon. We highly recommend you stay here if you are planning a trip to the area!

We had an amazing time at this spot. The bathroom was well equipped with toilet paper, shampoo, wet wipes and more. Two showers (inside and outside) that we really enjoyed after a day of hiking. The fire pit is big, our site was comfortable and it felt very private. There was also a charging spot for our phones which was very helpful.
We really loved it here. The only thing that surprised us negatively is the lack of a table on site (there’s one on the communal space). Luckily we carry our own table, but be aware.
Overall one of the best campgrounds we have ever stayed at. It’s very close to the Grand Canyon and has a gorgeous night sky.

Enjoyed our campsite. Was pleased with the toilet and shower facility. Had a nice hot shower first thing in the morning. The only thing I'd suggest is having the campsite numbers larger or more lit. We arrived around 8-9pm, very dark and didn't end up seeing campsite 3 until we drove around before leaving the next day. Other than that it was great!

What a perfect spot and a great host! James is wonderful and we were so thankful he chose to share his beautiful piece of property with us. It is private and there is shade! We will return if he will have us. His amenities are fabulous and he is incredibly thoughtful.

Sites are well spaced but the flies attack you, we heard from other campers this was an issue at least one other site. They don’t bite but don’t let up until evening, we ended up leaving a night early partially because of this. We stayed in July so maybe other times of the year are less impacted. The stars were great and our site was quiet enough from the highway. Was great to have a bathroom w/ shower and outdoor hand wash station. Host James was super nice.

Campground was perfect! Private sites, with a beautiful common area stocked with cooking supplies and fun amenities. Lots of room to eat and play. Clean bathroom and warm shower! The string and solar lights were our favorite part! We came from far away, but if we are ever back in the area we will visit again!

A private area with the option of a community gathering area. Shower and put toilet were primitive but clean. Great to be able to wash dishes at kitchen area. Beautiful place to view sunsets. Easy access to Grand Canyon and Flagstaff. If you are in to remote camping, we highly recommend.
