This was lovely. Adorable little bunky. Lots of dry wood for purchase and a forest full of dead drop to augment and entertain. The pathways are delightful to wander. The stream and back forest are lovely. The back forest especially feels very natural. Lots of logs to climb over! Felt very private and hosts were lovely. The provided tables and chairs were a delightful surprise.
The bathroom facilities are there. I wasn't there for the toilet. But I'd visit again despite this.

Nous avons réservé pour une période de 3 nuits ! Nos premières « vacances » depuis 6 ans.
Le suivi de réservation et l’accueil était super.
La cabine était propre et très accueillante. Nous avions une ferme et un boisé à nous seul !
Nous avons adoré!
Nous étions à 15 minutes de Wasaga Beach et très près de d’autres endroits agréables a visiter.
Nous avions apporté une toilette personnel de camping, nous vous le recommandons puisque vous aurez accès seulement à une tente contenant un puit naturel pour faire vos besoins. La toilette de camping est une nécessité.
Si vous voulez décrocher, vous ressourcer et avoir la plage à proximité, c’est parfait !
Pour vous rendre au site, vous aurez besoin d’un véhicule similaire à un Jeep, sinon vous devrez transporter vos effets personnels à destination. Pour notre part, c’est le véhicule que nous avions et nous avons eu énormément de plaisir dans le sentier pour se rendre à la cabine.

If you are looking for privacy this is a great campsite in the woods. The cabin was clean and with a cot can sleep three people. There is room for a forth person on the porch if somebody is ok with sleeping outside which I did on the first night. Very close to Wassaga beach.

Make arrangements to carry your gear or get a ride. We had a lovely time just getting lost in the woods. Getting away from the city noise was everything and this place delivered. Very much recommended for those who enjoy the outdoors rain or shine. We will be back.

Forest Bunkie
I love the weekend get-away in the "forest" bunkie. Although the weather was raining in the late afternoon, we were able to listen to rain drops while falling to sleep without being soaked (not good at setting tent). Be prepared though if it's wet, there are lots of mosquitoes, which is the annoying thing we are not prepared for. The place is huge and there are horses to to pat and my daughter loved it. I enjoyed picking the wild raspberries on site. Who can resist camp fire roasting all kinds of good foods including marshmallows. Yum. Spacious for a larger crowd to camp. Tried two restaurants and absolutely love it.

Wow, what a wonderful experience. We stayed over the Canada day long weekend, and a beautiful weekend it was. The site was in a great spot nestled amongst trails , in the forest but the sun still shined down. Waking up to the sound of the river was so peaceful, a wonderful way to start the day. We managed to fit 2 sleeping tents, and a 13' x 15' screened tent on the site with room to spare. After reading previous reviews on walking into the site we decided to bring our wheelbarrow along to carry the gear into the site, would recommend the same or some kind of wheels. Parking was minimal but we squeezed the cars into the bushes and grass.
Only things we might change would be to weed whack the area a bit, put some fresh plywood down on the bridge, and perhaps a nice wooden outhouse.
Otherwise, a beautiful spot to relax and unwind if you like to enjoy your tea by the river in the woods :)!

Forest Bunkie
I loved the bunkie and the privacy of our camp site. There’s a large area to walk around with your dog and many trails close by you can drive to. Wasaga beach is a 6 min drive away. The bunkie was really clean and was a great place to stay dry when it rained and sleep at night.

I absolutely loved staying here! The campsite was gorgeous (we got lucky and had the whole farm to ourselves that weekend, it was beautiful) & the owners were very helpful & accomdating. My friend was visiting from Ohio and she said it was her favourite part of the trip to Canada, hands down!
I am definitely planning on having another get together here later in the summer. Thanks so much again!

The actual site was amazing.
Unfortunately you have to walk your stuff a fair distance through some bush we brought a wagon to help us bring stuff but wasn't able to use it on the path provided.
Not a place for someone with back issues trekking a bunch of stuff.
If they fix the issue and you ca bring the car right up the bunkie it would be much better or at very least have a better path. I know it was unexpected that the path closed but definitely should have a second route.
Maybe a step to get into the bunkie as it is high step. Like I mentioned not friendly for less mobile people.
Other then that hiccup it was amazing.

Forest Bunkie
A very peaceful and scenic site to relax and explore, easy to find and access, and in close proximity to some nice towns and places. I came here for a personal private retreat and found it to be a perfect place, though I can imagine it would be great with a group too. I would definitely recommend it!

Our second time camping at this beautiful spot. We love the privacy and scenery of the site and the hosts are incredibly easy to communicate with. We will definitely be back again.

I loved the campsite because there was no restrictions on music/sound at late nights. Caribou was so humble and received us sweetly.

Creekside Camping!
Beautiful spot. We had a great stay at the creekside garden site. The site was private, spacious, and provided both sunlight and shade. We loved watching the sunset and listening to the birds and creek in the evening. There are also lots of trails that run through the property which our dog loved. The host was very friendly and helpful and met us upon arrival. This spot is very conveniently located, just 15 minutes from Wasaga beach. We would definitely come back again.

My friends and I loved our stay here! One of the most beautiful forests I've ever seen - felt like a magical fairy forest right by a creek! Fresh berries all around our site for us to enjoy as well. The hosts were very sweet and accommodating, even gave us free firewood! 100% recommend this stay especially if you're interested in going to Wasaga Beach, as it's only a 15 minute drive! Could pull the car up close enough to the site, it was then only a 30 second walk to the site after that. An added plus if you love animals; we were welcomed by 2 adorable dogs and saw some cute cats on our way out! For sure recommend this stay and will definitely be staying here again!

The tent sites are spacious, airy, surrounded by greenery and shaded at different times of the day. A great place to stay right now with raspberries in abundance for a fresh snack or as a pancake topping!
The first site was definitely our entertainment area with space to pitch tents, a screened in gazebo, set up camp games and a hammock on the path to the creek, and chairs to sit around the bonfire until the early hours. The second site, tucked in past the preliminary site was more private and cozy, right along the creek…also with ample space to set up a large tent, and for the adventurous, an opportunity to enjoy a hammock suspended over the bank of the creek…(a wonderful place to nap listening to the gentle flow of water and birds chirping in the distance).
TBH part of me hopes this place will remain a bit of a hidden gem because it is located close to all the amenities of nearby Stayner, Wasaga Beach, and Collingwood…We are already considering our next adventure with Caribou’s tent sites and bunkies as part of our planning.

The Forest Bunkie was situated in a prime spot amidst some towering hardwoods. We felt like we were in a prime campground location with all the space we needed, with privacy. We had a deer try to sneak by us during our bonfire, but we saw him and gave him a wave…(s’mores were just for us!). There were other critters that made an overnight visit so one should be mindful of keeping food tucked away. I personally liked the birds up in the forest canopy that greeted us in the morning…guess it was time to think about getting the coffee going!

Site was very nice and secluded. They left a bin of firewood for us to burn. The trail from the parking spot to the site is a bit overgrown with brush and there are lots of obstacles in the way, so it makes bring equipment to your site a little more challenging.
