Lovely farm property with a dedicated area for tent camping. The tent area had a firepit, picnic table, hammock, and even a biodegradable toilet. The property has a great view of the surrounding hills. Kick back and relax with the sheep and watch the sun set over the hills.

We had a lovely stay at the farm! It was a really nice spot with good amenities and a beautiful view. We especially liked getting to hang out by the sheep. Emma and Kurt were very responsive and helpful and their directions to get to the spot were very clear. Would definitely stay there again if we’re ever in the area!

This campsite was beautiful- very private and had great views. Compost toilet was clean and easy to use. Hammock was nice with space to set up another hammock nearby. Short walk from car parking spot to camping area.

Only two cautions: this is a working farm, with plenty of animals noises during morning and evening, and the parking spot is not right next to the site, so mentally prepare for not having that convenience. Otherwise, this was such a pleasant campsite for our family! We were delighted with the farm animals and the lovely scenery all around us. The composting toilet was clean and easy to use. The location was conveniently close to both Eagle Point and Medford, so we had no problem getting camping necessities. Cell reception was fine. I would definitely stay here again or recommend it to others.

absolutely beautiful site! loved camping here. such beautiful views of the farm, great fire pit, and feels very private which is nice. also a cute little hammock to relax in. we explored crater lake from here - a bit of a drive but def doable and easy! great hosts, easy to find the site.

Staying on Emma and Kurt's farm was a very special experience for me. I was on a road trip from California to Crater Lake, so it's location was ideal.
The directions were super clear and I had no trouble finding it and getting myself all settled in. I was using a roof-top tent which meant that had to actually camp in the parking area by the barns. This turned out to be a bonus as the sound of the cows and sheep breathing and moving about at night was quite soothing. The roosters started their crowing at 4: 30 a.m. but I was able to doze as it soon became white noise, blending in with the bleating of sheep.
I set up my camp kitchen on the picnic table in the camping area where there was a fire pit and a few logs, along with a hammock which I actually tried out! The toilet was clean and practical, though there was no running water, so bring plenty of your own.
The family are delightful and very friendly, coming over to milk the jersey cows twice a day by hand and gather eggs. I bought some of their creamy milk and tried the incredible home made ice cream.
There is a nice twenty minute hike along a canal which borders the property and the sunsets are epic.
I heartily recommend trying this campsite if you are passing through Southern Oregon.

The campsite was quaint and well kept. Had an incredible time relaxing in the Oregon countryside. Bathroom was a huge plus. Would highly recommend!!

My friends and I loved the beautiful views on the farm! Setting up was easy & the toilet directions were clear! Everything was clean & maintained! The macrame hammock was fun! The fire pit worked great & the grass was flat & maintained! The animals were kind & not bothersome. Very peaceful!!

This was a lovely place to stay - perfectly halfway on my drive from SF to Portland. The land is beautiful. It was especially fun to watch the sheep come in for bed one by one after sunset. The campsite was thoughtful and the space is cared for. Energetics and aesthetics mean everything to me. I highly recommend and hope to stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at Emma & Kurt's. They were great and communicative. It definitely felt like staying on a farm, haha, but it was great for our 11 year old who was very intrigued and entertained by the sheep and rams.

Pasture camping was amazing! Emma and Kurt were extremely gracious and were there to meet us when we arrived. The campsite is placed on the top of the property overlooking the mountains. There was a beautiful stream and trail which gives you a great view and was perfect for a sunset walk. We loved camping on the farm and would totally recommend it.

Beautiful farm located 15-30 min from Medford/Ashland area. Amenities were fresh drinking water, picnic table, some shade w/a hammock, a clean composting toilet, fire pit, and a great view of the farm and hills. The camp area is suited for tent campers, and is about a 300 foot walk to the site.

Emma, Kurt & family are the lovliest folks.
We certainly appreciated their welcoming warmth, great communication and abililty to understand.
We really wanted love the spot, but we couldn't get past the constant noise from Highway 140.
We live in a very quiet community and are obviously more sensitive to noise than many people.
Thank you Kurt and Emma for being so flexible!

This place is spectacular. The pictures do not do this place justice. It is an absolute gem of a spot and you could not ask for a better view of the countryside. We woke up to cattle peacefully grazing behind us in the adjacent field and watched the sun go down over the mountains the night before. If you’re passing through the area or are just looking for a quiet place to stay then look no further.

Staying on the pasture was absolutely amazing! It was the most relaxing, serene, and overall peaceful experience I have ever had In my life. Please, do not hesitate to book this beautiful camping location. There were cows that came up to the fence and it was a wonderful experience.

The pasture was a beautiful site. We had some amazing sunsets from there. Be aware that the campsite is about 100 yards from where you park so you will have to carry everything over. The little outhouse set up they have worked great!

Such a beautiful place to camp. About 1.5 hours from Crater Lake and 30 min from Medford. The toilet was clean and well-kept. Even with the unfortunate rainy weather, we had a great time.

Had a nice overnight stay at Boden Acres, which is a beautiful piece of land. Campsite has everything you need; sheltering oak trees, picnic table, level place for tent, hammock, and composting toilet & hiking trail close by. Great views! Short walk up the hill from where you park. Birdsong and a rooster to greet you in the morning. Thank you for creating a clean and comfortable campsite, Emma and Kurt!
