Wonderful, peaceful and private. There was quite a bit of loud traffic on the road during the day but it slows down in the evening, otherwise very pleasant. Frances was a wonderful host and ensured we had everything we needed. The full hook-ups and covered area for relaxing was perfect and the very large fenced in area was great to let the dogs run. The kayaking and biking in the surrounding springs and trails is some of the best we’ve experienced. Definitely would stay here again and would highly recommend it. We stayed with our 42’ 5th-wheel and Freightliner truck. (Just a word of caution, the ground is sandy so if in a larger rig, be careful.)

We had a perfect weekend getaway for our family of 4 and 2 dogs. The loft was cozy and comfortable - we had all the comforts of home while feeling like we were in our very own private rustic clubhouse! The dock was beautiful, nearby hiking trails were great, and we enjoyed some delicious meals at local restaurants. Frances was an excellent host who welcomed us and was quick to respond to all questions. Our family will definitely be back!

Outstanding! The natural beauty is incredible. Francis is a kind and welcoming host. She’s very thoughtful about offering extra blankets on the chilly night and delicious fresh eggs. I would absolutely recommend this listing.

We were in town for Some mountain biking and booked this site as it has the covered structure adjacent to the site and it was calling for some rain. Turned out to be a great site with a gracious host ensuring we had what we needed. Also, It really worked out well for our dog as he enjoyed being able to explore a bit off leash due to the fencing (supervised off course). A great alternative to the crowded RV Parks. We look forward to our next visit!!!

Cute place. Nice property and comfortable loft for sleeping. Nice bathroom with shower.
Since there is only a grill and a microwave for cooking, eating anything not grilled is a challenge. I bought a hot plate so that I could fry up some breakfast. The sink for dishes in the barn was gross.
Also missing essential flatware to eat with. I bought forks and left them. The lake is beautiful. We didn't use the canoes because it was really hot. Overall we enjoyed ourselves. The co hosts were friendly and helpful.

It was an amazing experience in this campground the loft was perfect cozy we woke up made breakfast to ☀️ sunrise and enjoyed the night with s’mores the place reminds me of the movie the note book , I would highly recommend this place ,France was so accommodating with everything ❤️

Hosts were exceptional, nice and very helpful when we arrived.. the loft was very nice inside a barn..something different..there is a lake to canoe and 2 old friendly horses to pet. We would highly recommend and will return at a later date. Convenient to silver springs and ocala for horseback riding ..thank you for a good experience.

Drove from Missouri to Key West. We stayed at 18 different campsites and this has by far been the best campsite the whole trip. It actually was my favorite camp spot EVER!!!

HIPCAMPERS BEWARE!!!
You will not want to leave!
We have traveled somewhat extensively, in campgrounds, high end resorts and unique lodgings, from Thailand, New Zealand and Australia. We have become somewhat tainted by our experiences and rarely encounter a WOW space. This is a WOW space. The tranquility, surroundings and total experience of this place is unreal. I cannot recommend highly enough this very special place. Just left this morning and already looking forward to our return. Thank you Rica and Mike!

We loved visiting this place. We brought kayaks and enjoyed getting out on the lake. The horses were waiting for us when we came out! We picked our own fresh eggs from their chickens for breakfast and my pup was excited to meet his first farm animals too. We met amazing people from the hostess to the other campers. Rica went above and beyond from the moment we arrived until we left. It is beautiful,quiet and you feel like part of a community instantly.

We are happy to have found this spot. The hosts are really nice and commited to making your stay fun and comfortable. The spot is perfect for RVs of all sizes. We have a large class A and still had plenty of space on both sides, even with all slides open. We had to leave a bit earlier than we had expected, due to my work, but the days we stayed over we had a great time. We highly recommend this place and look forward to going back in the future!

We had an amazing experience staying In the loft. The accommodations were very well thought out, and incredibly cozy! Saturday Sunday Serenity—- This place is a must visit… and stay awhile. We booked for a weekend but it just wasn’t long enough, it happened to be available so my husband and I extended our stay after wrapping up Spring Break with our Grandkids. They spent the week at the beach but the peacefulness of the nature and sense of being away from the fast pace was refreshing, according to their Mom. I especially liked the pavilion w/picnic table, my husband was able to pull right through with our 41’ 5th wheel, the old trucks throughout the property and the floating dock. My daughter was thrilled with the fenced in area for the kids to run around, play ball, fly their kites and took advantage of the scenery for Easter photos. The Grands loved the horses and the swing. Mike and Rica are super friendly and have the ultimate set up for families looking for a memorable great time!! ~Thank You and Happy Trails~

We had the most amazing first experience with Hipcamp. The land was beautiful, the pole barn was a savior as there was major storms on Saturday morning (with a tornado close by) and we barely even noticed! The dogs loved the yard and Rica was great! She brought us eggs for breakfast (and we brought carrots for the horses). The lake is beautiful! If it was not so windy, we would have taken the canoe for a paddle. I could not be happier with this location and our experience!

Great place to stay, i highly recommended it, i slept in the loft for 2 nights. As you turn into the property there is a gravel road and on your left will be a covered barn camp site that has electrical hookups, the gravel road leads you down to the loft as well as the huge lake. there is a pair of beautiful horses that may greet you along the way. Thank you Rica and Michael for providing a stress free place to relax and unwind.

Great camp spot, friendly hosts, the covered barn area that you camp at is private with all hookups the place has a cool old Florida vibe with antique trucks situated tastfully as yard art, friendly horses and as my grandaughter said the worlds greatest dog, you can also see the lake at the other end of the property, we took the canoe out. We will be back.

We spent 3 weeks here and loved every minute of it! Rica & Michael were so inviting and made us feel right at home! They were always available to help us or answer any of our questions. They also had many suggestions for things to do in the area.
The property is set right on the lake so you get some pretty sunsets and views. There is also tons of room to run around and play which our girls (6 & 3) LOVED, as did our 2 dogs! Almost every morning we got fresh eggs from the hen house and had many sightings of our friendly neighbors (2 horses). :) There are quite a few fun things to do near the property as well from a state park with glass bottom boat rides and kayak rentals to a playground right on the lake with a beach! Highly recommend staying here, it's so peaceful!

The RV site that we stayed in was wonderful. Covered area with water, electricty, and dump. We have 3 dogs and they ran wild in the pastures and down at the lake. Rica and Michael were both delightful to talk with. Mike is an incredible mechanic and wood worker, so if you are into seeing some creative work, this is the place to go. Rica is wonderful to talk with and made us feel right at home. We did take their canoe out for a trip around the lake which was enjoyable. Overall quiet and peaceful locations. So if you need a place to just relax and enjoy. This is the place.

Beautiful spot! Ruined me for all others! Loved the pole barn and the patio. We also loved the area! Easy to get to town. So many excellent uses of old trucks in the decor of there place. It is for sale if you have a bucket full of money! There is also a little apartment for rent on the property if you have a guest join. That’s what we did and it worked out perfect for our friend to join us for a reunion of old friends. We did not use the water access or dock. We stayed busy in other ways. It is down their driveway thru their fenced yard. We couldn’t see the lake from the campsite but we were welcome to enjoy it anytime we wanted to. There was a campsite closer to the lake but didn’t have the privacy we enjoyed at the pole barn with the fenced in acre. The apartment has a gorgeous view of the lake and a nice sitting area outside with a firepit.
