We had an amazing time camping at OMS. The camp sites, trails and meditation sites were perfect. Everything was easily accessible without loosing the true "woodsy" experience. The views are gorgeous. The owners were extremely helpful when our truck stalled out while still in the woods. We are extremely grateful and suggest OMS to anyone wanting to get away, connect with nature and enjoy Mother Earth.

We had an absolutely perfect weekend camping on Heidi’s land. Like other reviews noted, site 2 is secluded enough that we didn’t see the other campers, and the nature trail is incredible. The guided meditation suggestions are an added bonus, or you could bring your yoga mat and do some sun salutations on the meditation platform. It was nice to be able to take a shower and jump in the hot tub after a long day of exploring beautiful NW Arkansas. I can’t say enough things about the experience, and it’s money well spent. Thanks, Heidi and crew at OMS!

We were greeted by Heidi and shown the outdoor shower and hot tub right away. We were then lead down the hill to a campsite that was quite visually secluded. We didn’t see another visitor for the entire 3 day stay.
Site two (where we stayed) was near a fence-line in the woods that separated the OMS property from a neighbor. However, the greenery in early October was enough of a screen from that neighbor, but not may not be after the leaves fall away - we were not far from a house there, but we didn’t see or hear from them in 3 days.
The site was also quiet in the day, but there was a persistent dog barking in the distance for a long while on the first night. The 2nd night was much more quiet, and we slept well both nights anyways (the dog was not a coyote, which we also heard and were happily charmed by both nights).
We weren’t alone though. There was a very sly and peculiar grey cat that stayed with us in the night. It would always come from downhill, away from Heidi’s residence. It begged for food and sat in my lap by the fire. It was a wonderful bonus to be trusted and loved by this kitty while we were there.
There were also 3 funny chickens that showed up on the last day and swept the picnic table for scraps.
The compost toilet and the tiny structure that enclosed it were charming, clean, and easy to use. We were very thankful to have it.
There were also short trails through the woods with interesting rock-hewn assembly spots, which made for fun explor’n

Heidi‘s land is a haven, the aquifer water a delightful treat. The grounds are perfect for wandering and reflecting. I met several delightful critters and enjoyed the changing leaves.

Second time staying here. First time was nice overall. Minus site saying free wood then being told it was donation based once we reached the camp. Second time however solidified me never going back. Dogs and Tom were great hosts never saw Heidi. Our campsite was directly on property line with rambunctious neighbors who one day pooped next to our tent. Restroom needed service when we arrived but never received it till we complained because it was full to the very top. Also to park your car for site two you will get tons of scratches. We were in small car and the trees/brush are so overgrown on the driveway you destroy your car to park.

I have been staying with OMS campsite #2 for the last 3 years. I always brag about it to all my friends. It is a convenient stay from the historic downtown of Eureka Springs while providing a place to detach from the world around & refocus on self while taking in the beauty of nature. The sunrises are stunning & the night skies are beautiful. Last year when we went we were asked to pay a donation for the firewood they have onsite. Which is good being that they take the time and effort to gather and chop it for you. Just be aware because at that time the listing did not mention this. The property next to us has what looked like an carport of sorts located on the same side of the property we stayed at. Each night they had guests & were quite loud pretty late. Additionally they kept the carport light on majority of the evening which we could see. This is not at all the fault of the OMS staff, but something to keep in mind if you are going on a weekend where there are events. Some people may be able to overlook these things & still enjoy all the beauty the property has to offer, however it was disheartening for me. I wanted to use this time to detach from the world & recharge, only to have constant reminders of the world I tried to leave behind. Our picnic table broke when someone sat on one side, looked due to rot. No one got hurt but nothing happened after we mentioned it. Heidi never came out to greet us or visit during this trip. Tom was kind and helpful.

What a great camping experience. Heidi was great amd showed me around the property. She took me to camp site 2, which was In a great location. I love animals and I had a couple of dogs stop by to say hello, a few chickens passed through,, and one cat who hung out with me all night, which was cool :-) I took advantage of the hot tub which was so nice, loved the outdoor shower, and the view of the sunset over the tree line, that was amazing! Not only did I get to visit with Heidi...At OMS I was glad to meet Justin and Raphy (workers) and had great conversations with them as well. I felt safe, secluded, and it was nice to have the well water spout right near Camp. I would definitely return, I had such an amazing time! Oh, and the stars!!!
