Year around main highway access, close to Popo Agie River, just two minutes from Lander city limits and only ten minutes to Sinks Canyon State Park. Great jumping off point for adventures including day trips, legendary holiday festivities or simply chill out and relax while hiding out in plain sight. Suitable for extended stays for traveling professionals (I.e. Travel Nurse) who appreciate safety and privacy.Enjoy your privacy and safety in this entire duplex apartment for a month, or longer, with no lodging tax or hidden fees! In ‘Apartment A’, your very own kitchen awaits (with a few simple cookbooks included) so you can save money vs. eating meals out, plus maintain control over what you eat. There’s a smooth-top electric range with two oven racks, an 18-cubic foot refrigerator and microwave, plus convenient small appliances (toaster, blender, slow cooker, can opener, etc…), pots and pans, pot holders and towels, cutlery, gadgets, baking pans, silverware and place settings. You’ll find a dish pan, sink mat and dish drainer along with a fresh and new sponge and dish soap under the large cast iron kitchen sink. Seating includes a dinette table with four chairs, plus a nook with a wood rocking chair. Wine rack, corkscrew and wine glasses are provided, so bring your favorite vino! The full bathroom has plentry of storage and features a cast iron tub/shower combination with fiberglass surround, vessel sink and bathroom towels. Sleep well in the queen log bed with matching chest of drawers (6 drawers, one with extra linens), a night stand, clock and lamp. We include several portable fans if you need some white noise. There’s a large closet area for hanging up clothes plus a separate storage closet with shelves. The abundant storage makes Apartment A perfectly suited to longer stays! The living room offers a flat screen television with DVD slot plus Dish Network (includes some music and movie channels) a reclining loveseat, two individual swivel rocket recliners and a swivel occasional chair with storage ottoman. If your work follows you wherever you may go, take advantage of the office chair and writing desk where you can keep up with demands using included wireless internet. There’s gas forced air heat and central air conditioning, too. Coin-operated laundry is available on premises. Enjoy the outdoors with a covered porch with benches plus a small picnic table. We provide private trash collection and you’ll find easily accessible outdoor garbage cans with lids. The location is on the main highway and has a red bluff view where you will frequently see mule deer and antelope. Look for whitetail deer plus the occasional moose out your dining room window, and don’t be surprised by the occasional nickering or whinny of horses. Love stargazing or watching phases of the moon? Bring your astronomy app and see stars and the moon away from the pollution of bright city lights! You will find a variety of birds and other small creatures along a short walk to the Popo Agie River which also offers excellent fly fishing opportunities. Visit the nearly Wyoming Game and Fish Department for more information and fish licenses for purchase. Plenty of parking with room for your trailer. This location is the original site of historic Wyopo and the Lander Oilfield which in the early 1900’s supplied energy to our nation. If you’re a history buff then you will enjoy knowing that rich history is underfoot and easily explored with a trip to nearby museums including the Fremont County Pioneer Museum and Museum of the American West. Visit the historic Fremont County Library in Lander (one of the original Carnegie Libraries) and the Lander Chamber of Commerce for more information about local history as well as today’s current and upcoming activities that will keep you as busy as you care to be all the while knowing you have a clean, safe and modern ‘home’ to return to at the end of each day. If you’re interested in the outdoors from hiking, fishing, camping, riding and climbing then Apartment A provides an easy base to jump off from. Bring your ATVs, or bring your horses - a stock tank and round pen are available (extra fee), just ask! Okay
