If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
Buffalo Jump was a great place for us to spend a night on our cross country trip. Our truck and small trailer easily made it up the steep drive, and backing into the space worked well for us. The water and electric hook ups were convenient. A big dirt hill separates the RV spot from the traffic on the other side of it, and we had zero problems with the traffic sounds. Trees, a privacy fence section, and other landscaping add privacy from neighbors. Nice picnic table area well-lit with solar lighting.
Gerald was a great host! I really enjoyed chatting with him. He was welcoming and respectful of our space. The spot is wonderful and full of accommodations. We had a 5 point and an 8 point Buck right out the front door feasting on apples from the apple tree!(we followed suit) Little to no light pollution and plenty of stars. Cody is a really cool place with a lot of history. Would certainly recommend this place if your passing through one direction or another.
We were traveling with a toddler and were reluctant to stay in a regular campground, Gerald's site was perfect! Just what we needed for a base camp for a few days while we had some great day trips around the area. Gerald was incredibly welcoming and helpful. We'd definitely stay there again!
Excellent host and site.
Very comfortable and clean site with all the amenities. Well laid out. Gerald is such a great host and quick to communicate about anything. One tip for large trailers is the peak of the hill requires a wide swing to the left before you make the sharp turn so you have room to straighten out for the back in. Highly recommended!!!
A great site all to yourself.
This site worked great for us. On the edge of town, secluded area and very safe. Generally quiet ( Highway over the hill) but that didn’t cause a problem. As host states drive to site a bit tricky but way worth it once set up.
