Description

In the Bighorn Mountains, you’re bound to see an abundance of wildlife no matter where you decide to set up shop. If you really want to hedge your bets, however, you might want to make Ranger Creek Recreation Area your first choice. Situated right next to an open meadow, the animal viewing is out of this world! If waiting patiently isn’t really your thing, hit one of the many trails in the area - it’s easy access from here to the ethereal sounding Cloud Peak Wilderness. Remember folks, this is bear country: follow the park’s guidelines on food storage and you’ll have no problem viewing the wildlife from a comfortable distance.
