The Hill is a private forested camp area that was originally made for a large group of friend's annual party. Spanning 4 acres on top, there is space for campers including 20/30 amp plug-ins (see other listing Hill for Campers), tents, and has buildings on-site for groups if needed. We also an add on of a simple rental glamper we call the Sugar Shack. The variety of trees, open space, and a group areas including fire pit, horseshoes/bags, and walking paths make the Hill a beloved getaway. Elroy/Sparta trail is 4 miles away that you can reach on the 400 trail just 1.2 miles from Hill. Golf course in town, paddle on Baraboo, fish/swim at Dutch Hollow, or hike at Wildcat --all within 15 miles.

PLEASE ad in how many nights use as a unit. Renovated cargo trailer includes a pull down Queen sized bed, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, kitchenette, and purple shag carpeting on the ceiling. This groovy pad does NOT have a toilet or running water, but does have electric plug ins. Fresh bedding and potable water provided. Definitely worth it to sleep on a real bed!

Second time we've stayed at The Hill and our favorite spot "The Point". Great vista, quiet, wildlife sounds, close to bike trails and hiking over at Wildcat mtn state park. Love the whole driftless area...we will be back again. Thanks Kari and Bill!
We stayed here for 2 nights with my family and relatives- this is a beautiful place for camping. I wished we had more days to stay here. We sure had a great time! Bill and Kari both are awesome! Thank you guys for letting us stay at your beautiful campsite! We surely will be back in the future!
Nice place for the family for camping over here weekends because it has good shade, big and very clean..
Awesome site with plenty of space, campfires, and thoughtful activities. We had the entire place to ourselves and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a night out of the city.
Wow! Bill and Kari are wonderful and welcoming hosts. Their property is amazing... Clean Quiet Nature. The surrounding area is Beautiful with playgrounds for all my favorite outdoor activities. I will definitely return for a longer stay!
The best way to kick off summer...
We had Such an Amazing Time....we only camped for 1 night but plan on coming back for a multiple day trip...Kari greeted us upon Arrival...full of Energy and Kindness and took the Time to Walk us around and Share the History of the Process of Creating such a Tranquil Retreat...The Price was Right On and the Views were Beautiful...🤩
It was peaceful. I was only obe there which was great since thats what i was looking for. I hesitsted becsuse in the picture it looked more like a group thing get together. Its a large put fire ring. But several tab lkl es all around.( no smaller puts though) but you can get a luttle away if you want to be away from any group that might be thete too. They have shower and nice toilets. You can bring your grill or yse theirs they have around the pit if you dobt have one. The only soynd i heard was woodpecker, un milked cow. I loved it! I would come back yes. On off holidays . Im older and like the quiet.
Me and my girlfriend stayed here for the night, Kari was absolutely wonderful she was very nice and the land was beautiful. There’s a nice little back trail you can walk that’s maybe five minutes around the camp. The bathroom was surprisingly awesome. Great deal for firewood. We had an excellent time and will look forward to coming back!
