Camp Sasquatch

The campsite itself was fine, really just a cut trail through the woods, but the neighbors were close, outside all weekend and spent most of their time yelling at each other and swearing loudly from around 7am until midnight each day of my stay.

Nice flat, quiet space. Good room for a tent or two.

Unfortunately wasn't able to hang out and enjoy it. Setup in the rain, slept, woke up and headed out.

Overall the campsite was beautiful and felt secluded but safe. BUT at 7a they started playing VERY loud music like they wanted us to leave. We were very respectful and went to bed a little after midnight so I don’t think such a rude awakening was deserved.
Such a bummer we had such a rough morning because I really did enjoy the campsite it’s self.

Spent a relaxing Memorial Day Weekend camping at Camp Sasquatch.

Orion was very helpful and always easy to contact. He provided my boyfriend and I with dry wood and a firepit.

Orion's Camp Sasquatch is a long trail nestled between residential property and thick forest. A great way to get off the grid while still being 20 minutes away from Wausau and only 10 minutes away from Rib Mountain State Park (which provides some beautiful hiking). While it was too chilly for us to use, there's also plenty of lakes amd beaches nearby as well.

Highly recommend for your next "off the grid" camp weekend.
