Our property is located in a semi rural setting approximately an hour's drive from Perth, making it an ideal getaway for busy families and folk who are looking for an easy, relaxing break away.

There is a winter creek running alongside our property, and the camp area features winter grass and open spaces surrounded by gum trees.

This campsite is for guests with tents or light to medium self-contained camper trailers and suits  those who bring their own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water supply.

The site is on a slight incline and you may need to bring a levelling ramp.

Warm your toes around the campfire in the evenings as you listen to the night time sounds of the bush. (Fires are subject to local fire restrictions - please inform host of intention to light up at least 30 minutes before as we must notify the fire authorities. Fire must be extinguished before retiring to Bed).

Head out for a bush walk or check out Lake Leschenaultia, a 168 hectare bushland well-known for its canoeing, swimming, cycling and bar-b-cue facilities. The National Parks and state forests in our region offer excellent walking trails, and lots of wildlife and waterfalls to take photos of.  Mundaring Weir makes great viewing.  The state forests have good tracks for mountain biking. If you're a history buff, ask us about the old railway reserve.

We are located close to public transport, 20 mins drive to the train station and the large township of Midland, with plenty of shopping and supplies. The township of Mundaring is only 10 mins drive away and is a lovely little town with a lot going for it.

Just under an hour away are the old townships of York, Northam and Toodyay.

Pets on leashes welcome.

We stayed here for 3 nights.
After setting up we were greeted by very friendly hosts Carol and John with their 2 small dogs.
Although we had 4wd and camper trailer, the site can be easily accessed by 2wd.
The site slopes down to the north with plenty of open space for solar panels.
Tap water is available, and to our surprise dry fire wood, kindling, firelighters and matches! was also available!
Minimal to no road noise could be heard overnight. Our stay was quite and relaxing, and we will defiantly return 😊

Carol and John were lovely hosts. Their communication was helpful and they even greeted us so make sure everything was okay for our stay. Very lovely! Site was grassy/weedy due to the winter rains which gave the tent a nice soft set up. I imagine it would be a bit more dry in summer. Site is a bit of a slope but we managed just fine behind one of the trees on a flat spot. Would stay again.

We did an overnight stay at Halls Hollow and were greeted by our very lovely hosts John and Carol and their two adorable dogs.

Location was easy to find and very close to Perth making it a very good option for a weekend getaway! We brought a small caravan and this had to be levelled due to a slight slope. There was a designated area to set up a camp fire and we were happy to have the whole area to ourselves.

Suits a self contained set-up. Location was fairly close to the main road but still a very pretty area to set up camp with trees in the background. Would definitely be back!
