Please note, similar to the Bogachiel State Park, Virago Camp is located next to Hwy 101. There will be some road noise. :)

Firewood is available across the road at RW Services for $5/bundle.

The meadow campsite at Virago camp was a perfect place to stay just outside of Olympic national park! The camp sites were extremely easy and close to walk up to, and Janice even provided wagons to assist with moving equipment from cars to campsites. The campsite was in great condition and I would absolutely stay here again!

It was a nice place to camp at. It was clean and well kept. Our original place didn't work out and we were very happy to have found this site just right off the highway situated along a river. After a nice freshing swim the next morning we were ready to head off for more adventures!

Easy to find, easy to access and setup your camp. And right along the river, which you can hear as you fall asleep. Great spot.

Great little campsite just outside of Forks. Everything was clean and well kept. Loved the addition of the carts to help get gear from the car to the site

Overall a really nice place to camp. Wagons are nice to carry your kit to site. The meadow sites are about as close as a state park campground, but slightly less private. The road noise is an issue, but the pleasant constant noise from the river offset this by a good margin. I would stay here again, and we appreciated how close we were to the Hoh rainforest and the really nice swimming hole in the river.

The river is amazing. Great for swimming. Site was clean and large. Our dogs had room to run. Hey 101 was in view of our site but some other sites were hidden.
