Shallow Springs is a 70 acre ranch located just 15 minutes from the historic victorian city of Port Townsend. It's a is a working ranch with acreage set aside for Hipcampers. The ranch gets its name from the shallow springs which have been the source of water for over 100 years. This property has been in our family since 1968. It has been passed down through two generations. We are pleased to have the opportunity to be able to share this beautiful land with our Hipcamper guests. You may catch a view of horses being ridden or cattle grazing. We have a flock of chickens and a friendly ranch dog. There is a nest of Bald Eagles in the vicinity that frequently fly overhead. Don't be surprised to wake up and find deer strolling by. Feel free to relax and watch the animals in their habitats. Dogs are welcome, but please keep them on a leash when not in your campsite. Bring your bike and access the Larry Scott Trail located only 4 minutes or one mile by walking from the ranch entrance. The trail goes on for miles throughout the valley and to the downtown boat marina. This is great for biking or hiking while catching fantastic views of local properties. There is a local farmstead on our road that is always full of tasty items. You can enjoy the wineries, micro-brews, farmers market and a variety of festivals, among numerous other fun activities. You can check out more photos on our instagram "shallowspringsranch" and please don't forget to tag us on any social media posts. Enjoy your stay!

Site 5 - Fern Hideaway
This campsite is beautifully-maintained and very quiet and peaceful. While the owners have several campsites, they have plenty of land and have created little tree-patch hollows for each guest to feel secluded. Being at the end of a quiet road means no street noise, and the bathrooms provided are extremely clean. Campsite 5 has a slope to it, so bring levelers, you will need them if you want to sleep flat. Owners were communicative and helpful, would stay again!

Divinity at Shadow Springs Ranch
Elisa & Joseph's property in Port Townsend is breathtaking. We arrived after Labor Day weekend to be greeted with 10 bucolic acres to ourselves. The property has multiple camping site that are all private from the other sites. We saw many rabbits, deer, song birds, and feasted on super sweet blackberries. The campsites are gorgeous with tons of verdant foliage, great newer picnic tables and the prettiest fire ring area's I have ever seen. We loved it so much here, we stayed another day. Elisa met us when we arrived and was the perfect host. We can't wait to return. 10 stars!!
