Site 1 - Pepper Creek
We had a cozy stay at the Pepper Creek site 1 under the giant cedar tree. The site was clean and the cedar chips made for a soft spot for our tent. The convenience of the fire pit, picnic table and close by porta potty and potable water made staying here a breeze. Highly recommended for those looking for a base camp for further exploring in to the park.

Sweet little patch of woods.
This was a sweet little campsite that was convenient to all the local hikes and sights. The outhouse was super clean. The woodchips provided a wonderfully scented soft place to put our tent. I'd stay here again! Also, you must try the Blackberry Cafe for breakfast, its just down the street.

A year later and it's still great. We'll probably make this an annual stop, it's very nice!

Peaceful spot with our pup 🐶
Beautiful little piece of heaven in a small town in the middle of the Olympic area. It was peaceful and serene with just us for the night. The sites provided a fire pit, porta potty, and even water + trash! There’s a conviene store nearby which we throughly enjoyed looking around at. (They do have bundles of wood). It’s a perfect spot as a home base for adventures in this beautiful space of nature. Jamie very responsive. Honestly can’t wait to use again when it warms up so I can take advantage of all the amazing bodies of water surrounding! Also love that out fur baby was allowed to come and enjoy!

Great camping trip
The campsite was great! The toilets were so clean and close by. We were able to fit two tents perfectly. The location was perfect. Not too far from a small grocery store and only about 25 minutes from Lake Crescent and Mt. Storm King.

Campsite was easy to find a short distance from Hwy 12. A great base for day trips cycling on the Olympic Discovery trail. 15 min drive to Lake Crescent and Spruce Railroad trail, and only 5 min to the Adventure Trail. The campsite size was like a typical NF Campground. The two campsites are across from each other but well situated for privacy at the tent and tables. The beautiful huge cedar tree kept our tent dry in the rain. The picnic table needs to be tarped if you want to use it in the rain. Bathroom, garbage and potable water tank were well maintained and close by - but far enough away to be unobtrusive. I wouldn’t use this place as a wilderness retreat, but it worked great as a very convenient place to eat and sleep. You can hear the highway in the distance, as well as neighborhood sounds such as dogs. The previous resident did not practice “Leave No Trace”. They tossed toilet paper and personal hygiene garbage into the sword ferns. There was dog poop on the ground, and a lot of dog food scattered around. Not cool.
