This was a wonderful campsite on a lovely piece of property. Our host was responsible and helpful. The site itself was well laid-out with plenty of soft ground to pitch tents among the pines. As it states in the description, other people do live on the property, so don't expect absolute privacy or quiet -- but that wasn't what our group was looking for. Plenty of cell service for Verizon. Overall a great place to camp.

It was a little funky on the outside with very long grass which was not well kept but the people who lived there and ran Moonlit Meadows were very nice and kind and helpful. I parked my van under a beautiful evergreen.

Great communication with host, less than ideal camping experience. There are no developed gravel tent spots, had to set up on wet grass which wasnt ideal. Didn’t feel like camping at all, just setting up on the side fo a road or persons backyard. No designated picnic benches to cook on.... WAY over priced for what it was. We paid the same amount as a KOA after taxes and fees and didnt get the free showers, laundry, hot tub, pool, flushing bathrooms, developed sites, etc. Also state park and national park campsites are much cheaper and better maintained. Do NOT recommend unless you have no other options or if your in anything other than a tent- vanlifers this is perfect for y'all!

Hi Cassandra! I’m sorry the wet grass put a damper on your stay! Unfortunately you came late at night and found a random spot next to the farm to tent and did not get shown around by anyone here in the Community, so you did not get to see any of our 6 nicely manicured campsites for tents. If the booking was not so last minute, and if you’d arrived during a time we could tour the different sites, I’m sure it would have been a lovely stay for you folks.

I played in the garden a little with the head gardeners and my hubby played guitar with a resident named Daniel most of the day. It was lovely and green. My kids were welcome to run about picking blackberries and watching the wild rabbits and roaming visiting guinea fowl, which apparently don't belong to the community but like it so much there they stay. We had a small pop up camper we wished to use and Jacenta accomodated us by giving instructions to find a place large enough, though we showed up pretty late. Overall I would definitely recommend. :)

I chose this site specifically because I wanted to talk to some community members and get a peek into what community life was like for people in this particular community. The people we met were personable and welcoming, I had fun joining them in their garden. We showed up quite late the first night and had a small RV we wanted to stay in, so they directed us to an easy to access spot we could find ourselves. Daniel's mobile abode was stationed near ours, and he was very quick to offer assistance to help us get settled, and he and my hubby played guitar together all day. I occasionally hung out and worked in the veggie garden with the people working there. He was also able to suggest a nearby trail to walk on, and our kids were welcome to run about picking blackberries, watching wild rabbits and the free range guinea fowl and talking the ears off of anyone who would listen, which people were great about, haha. Had a good time, thank you!

Very beautiful property off the main road that leads to Olympic National Forest. We really enjoyed all of the bunnies running near the gardens. Although we stayed in a van, there were very neat campsites within the trees. Recommend if needing a close stop before heading to the forest

The host asked us when we were planning on arriving and to let them know when we were nearby, we notified them when we were planning to arrive the morning of our trip over- and 5 mins before our arrival- to arrive with no host and no response to our texts and multiple phone calls. So we sat in a driveway for about 30-40 minutes. After ~40 mins our host responded to our text telling us she cannot show us to the spot and that she had lots of personal responsibilities that were preventing her from doing so. Being that it was the beginning of the heat wave + nighttime sitting in someone’s driveway in the dark we were not very stoked to be met this way. Eventually the host had a friend show us where to stay.

Its totally understandable when things come up, they happen to all of us- however the lack of planning and communication really left us with a disappointing experience , it doesn’t take much to give us a heads up or shoot a text when you know hours in advance when your guests would arrive.

The stay was alright, we parked on another property next door to accommodate our van. Has lots of potential to be a great experience.
