I have built a tiny, transforming A-frame cabin in our woods. The cabin is a 2-minute walk from the parking area and has a full size bed, loft area that can be used as an additional sleeping space, and a small table for food prep, etc. The cabin features a clear panel front awning that can be raised up to provide cover for the front deck area (raising the awning requires two people, or one tall and strong person.) There is also a fire pit and space to hang out around the cabin.
The bed has an air mattress, but bring your own bedding (a sleeping bag works great.) The trails can get muddy in the winter/rainy season. The cabin has battery powered lights. There is no heater!
We have created an additional 1/3 mile nature trail loop for campers to explore our forest. Blackberry picking in season! Those interested in the farm itself can contact the hosts for additional info.
There is an old railroad grade walking/biking trail nearby that runs up and down the length of the Snoqualmie valley. The Snoqualmie river also offers boating, floating, and swimming opportunities.

Perfect little hideaway
The tiny cabin was the perfect size for a quick stop to get a night of rest on our way to Leavenworth! It was clean, private, and easy to find. Phil was very helpful with suggesting a local dinner spot 🍽
Perfect! secluded forest paradise!
Had an amazing time! This is super secluded, surrounded by a beautiful forest. Nice little fire pit area, comfortable bed and cute extras like books about the local area and things to do. We will be back for sure! Bring mosquito repellent! We did but they still get in with the front opened up and will terrorize you at night! Next time we will be bringing a citronella candle for inside to help deter the little monsters haha the trail is a nice little hike, it's not a cleared trail so there is fall grass and plants all around, if you don't like spiders you may want to wear pants while walking but they are little and harmless, just creepy if you have a fear of them. The compost toilet was clean and has good instructions, I'd never used one but found it way better and cleaner than any porta potties or public restrooms. Our host was just what I wanted, hands off but ready to help if we needed. We didn't need anything so we never met him but I would have felt comfortable to ask of we did. This is kid friendly as well and next time we will be bringing our 9 yr old daughter, the loft bed area is perfect for a child to sleep. So happy we stayed here!
Hollyhock Farm is beautiful, quiet and delightful. Phil is very easy to work with, communication was great and even gave us information on how the farm came about. We would stay there again if we were in the area.
A gem in wa state!
The Hollyhock Farm Tiny Cabin is an absolute gem in Washington state! Phil was easy to contact if we had any questions. The tiny cabin was perfect in every way! Will definitely be coming back to stay again, thanks for the hospitality!
I would give 6 stars if i could!
This stay was magical! A little oasis in the woods, just minutes from civilization :) Phil was an excellent host, the cabin was cozy and so cute, and I will 100% be coming back! I'd love to try out the bigger campsites sometime too! But the tiny cabin and cute little downtown Duvall might just be my new favorite getaway.
