I didn’t stay there. Scott accepted my stay then was not there. I was charged and now I’m trying to get my money back.

Awesome stay if you like exploribg and hiking. We had a great time, and sleeping under the stars was absolutely lovely.

Glad you had a good stay. We are currently improving the experience. Trying to keep the primitive sites and add more inclusive sites. Come back the pre snow camping is awesome!

It was like staying in a junk yard. The advertised outhouse was missing a wall, plywood covering toilet and overgrown with weeds.

Pretty fun authentic camping experience. Made snores and burgers. Saw deer right on the property like 50 feet away. Also saw a cat which probably means it's not being eaten by dangerous animals. That's good

This site is so remote! I am a mom with a young teenage son and we did not feel comfortable at all. That being said, it is in a gorgeous part of the forest south of the Little Pend Orielle refuge. Scott, the host, is a great communicator and we are definitely going back when he is there to orient us. Anyone looking for a backwoods, primitive camping experience...check it out!

Our stay was very private and primitive. I would stay there again someday, but worried about ticks in the summer.

Hipcamper Scott
Response from Scott, the Host, on September 17th, 2021
