One of the most popular sites in the southern area of the forest, Forlorn Lakes Campground has 25 sites spread out amongst the wooded shores of a breathtaking lake. Vault toilets, fire rings, and picnic tables are some of the amenities, though you will have to treat your water or bring your own. Don your Little House on the Prairie bonnet and pick some berries come fall.
