Don't miss gypsy rose!
The yurt and the property at Gaea was delightful. The yurt was very comfortable and the outdoor shower was refreshing. The property had all kinds of interesting parts, with 2 nice tent sites. The "Gypsy Rose" is a museum piece, an old entertainer's (Vaudeville?) Victorian trailer, and not to be missed. Gaea is a peaceful place, good for a relaxing stay if you like rugged outdoors. Jane, our host was very welcoming and respectful of privacy. Breakfast was great fruit, with granola or muffin, and yogurt. It is a ways out from downtown Spokane, but pretty close to the Centennial Bike Trail.
Idyllic retreat in nature
This beautiful place lives up to all of its great reviews. We felt so welcomed and cared for, but also had lots of time to spend in seclusion when wanted. The land is so expansive, with so many treasures to explore, I’ll definitely be back to see more.
Beautiful glamping getaway!!
We had such a lovely weekend at the Yurt at GAEA Getaway! The host Jane was so friendly and nice and the yurt was beautiful. She thought of every amenity we might need and the wine and breakfast was delicious. Not to mention, her property is breathtaking and close to Spokane. We will definitely be going back when we get the chance .
Very enjoyable experience!
Jane is a warm and lovely host. The yurt is well appointed, comfortable, and amid the trees yet feels open and airy. We love walking the trails and being outside at Gaea. If you are looking to rejuvenate, breathe, and reconnect with each other or yourself, please visit Gaea. This is our second time to Gaea, we love it here. We'll be back ❤️
Yurts are cool
Staying in a yurt is cool. And being out a bit so you can an hear coyotes and an owl is a fun thing. There were some nice touches like tea/coffee in the yurt, a bottle of wine left for us, and lovely candles and lights. The bed was comfortable. It is clear that the owners have put a lot of love into the property with quirky little things to explore.
The yurt is close to other houses so it doesn't feel very private. It is also near train tracks and an ORV park as well as being on a flight path, which is annoying. But if you are looking for a different type of stay very near to Spokane, this may be for you.
Jane, thank you so much for your hospitality your land is truly an inspiration I hope to have my own one day just like yours so peaceful and in tune with nature the space was absolutely beautiful I felt very at home I look forward to reconnecting again in the future .
Peaceful, fulfilling, enjoyable, :)
We stayed in the yurt which was really comfortable and attractive as well as private. The central ceiling dome covered opening allowed us to see the beautiful blue skies and green pine trees during the day and the stars at night. The hosts, Jane and John, are excellent people, very interesting and went the extra mile to ensure our comfort. We loved the acreage, so peaceful, quiet, and walking trails with many pleasant little things placed here and there, a creek that we sat at and cooled our feet, fire pit where we roasted our dinner, an outdoor shower that was really neat and enjoyable. I feel refreshed in my soul. We will be going again in a couple of months 😄❤️
