Chillax between orchard & vineyard
This campsite was very good. The view from site #6 was stunning, overlooking vineyards, with the mountains in the background. Nestled in between an orchard behind, and vineyard below, with quail darting in and out of shrubs nearby. Marcus was very helpful and I am grateful for the spot. It is very close to Manson and not far from Chelan.
Beautiful views and tasty apples
Marcus's orchard was perfect - remote with a beautiful view. My favorite part was chatting with additional guests and the harvesters. It is a working orchard - the workers were there early - but I was grateful that they shared their work with me. The apples were delicious!
Marcus, the host was super great and it’s more of a orchard than vineyard though there’s plenty of both. Wine was pretty good.
All the sites are next to apple trees, not grape vines. Sites 1, 2 & 3 are directly next to a house with little privacy, a long ¼ - ½ mile walk to the toilet, and 2 & 3 are right next too a chicken coop which wasn’t great for my dog. 5 & 6 are the optimal sites. 7 isn’t flat, but nicely secluded and great views.
Beautiful spot to camp out. Tucked into an orchard with views of the surrounding mountains, it was a perfect spot! Marcus was great with getting us all the information we needed ahead of time, and getting our group all situated. Very highly recommended!!
2nd visit, better than the first!
This was our second visit to Cheval Cellars Wine Camp and I hope will not be our last! Everyone in our group had an absolute blast. I think everyone got a kick out of using the outdoor showers and we certainly enjoyed the views and stargazing from camp! The location is great for a base camp to visit wineries and the lake from, while still being able to get away from it all. Marcus was a great host, as usual. He was very helpful with my many questions about air quality with the nearby fires, he accommodated our large group across multiple sites, invited us to enjoy some apples from the orchard, and set us up with e-bikes, which everyone LOVED! Thank you again, Marcus, for another spectacular weekend!!
Terrific stay all around
Beautiful views. Gracious hosts. Great stay all around! We booked Chevalier Cellars on a whim and were so glad we did. Do yourself a favor — if Marcus is offering a winery tour and barrel tasting: do it! It was a highlight and we came home with wine from the cellar. Delightful.
