Currently I have alpacas and goats in the pasture. They are cool but want you to know if you are allergic.
Overhead clearance to wires is about 12 feet.
New for the 2022 season, Tractor Jeff leveled the site and put gravel down. I hope it makes your experience here easier.

Lets be honest, it is sometimes about the land but mostly about the host. Matthew greeted me, helped me with power (to which I was not able to safely connect), and he was willing to help me level my van. The property is on a hill but depending on your preferences, there is always a way to make it work. The goats are a bonus!
Lots of pros: goats, alpacas, fire pit, dry firewood, quiet, good host, open area for little ones to run around... did I mention the goats and alpacas?! :)
Only con was that we arrived very late and it was raining pretty hard and it made finding a level spot difficult. Im sure if you arrived during day hours Matthew would direct you to the best spot for parking your camper/RV.

Matt's place was ideally located for exploring Poulsbo, Kingston, Bainbridge, and Port Gamble. Power and water were a big plus, as was Matt's friendly and accommodating personality. The slope of the property could be troublesome for some, but we were fine with our teardrop trailer.
Matthew is such a kind and welcoming person. We really enjoyed our time there, it was very peaceful! My children keep asking to go back.
Matthew was very responsive. He met me when we arrived and showed me the best places to set up our camper. The property is set back away from the road and is very peaceful. He has goats and alpacas which my kids loved.....who am I kidding, I had a great time feeding and petting them too. I would go back to this Hipcamp.
Great stay here. Kids (and parents) loved the goats. Quiet country feeling but close to town. Great communication from Matthew.
