The perfect retreat, my cabin had everything I needed: fresh water, camp stove, ice chest, solar light. More clamping than camping, but I'm fine with that! Travis is an excellent camp host and a really nice human being ❣️

Heaven on earth, you will fall asleep to the sounds of birds in the trees and gentle rain on the roof. This was a superlatively fantastic campground! It was a perfect location right by the beach. Travis and his trust sidekick Bella are awesome, and a super host. Want to come back ASAP.

The location was perfect! Surrounded by nature and wildlife, only 100 yards from a beautiful beach, and several restaurants.

I could not have been happier with this site, so happy that I decided to stay two weeks longer. Travis is very kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. It was very easy to find behind a locking gate with convenient parking across the street from the beach. It was a gorgeous, lush, easy drive from the airport and Google Maps worked the whole way. I felt safe in the Cane Bay community. The site had well maintained, short trails to the cabins, very nice outdoor shower and indoor bathroom with new, clean, nice flushing toilets, sink, sower and stocked with all the amenities including shampoo, conditioner and soap with a sink to wash dishes and clean sponges. There was way more than I expected like a grill at the site, propane stove, tea kettle, dishes, silverware, pots/pans, utensils, foil, silverware, sharp knives, salt/pepper, a big drinking water dispenser, large cooler to store food, screens and mosquito net on the bed, very clean and new sheets and bedding, nice pillows, towels, nice mattress, table and chairs inside and outside the cabin, picnic table, and clothesline... much more like glamping and Travis offered to let me borrow a flashlight and fan and charged the batteries before I arrived and left bug spray incase I needed it. There was a lock on the door which I used but never felt like safety was an issue because it is so serene and calm on the property that I had no worries at all. He was knowledgeable about the plants, trees (there was a noni tree at my site which was cool). You can hear the waves from the cabins and a symphony of birds, frogs, and crickets in the lush forest which was one of the most amazing perks to hear the sounds of nature at night while dozing off. Lots of clearings on the property to star gaze. The restaurant food was much better than I expected (I got the fish sandwich and the fish was very big and tasty). Travis made sure I knew there would be live music - Spanish guitar duo very beautiful, quaint and unique, not like the loud bar music you hear in town. Good vibes all around this little jewel by the sea. I'll definitely be back as it is one of those places that once you find you always return. The location is convenient in the sheltered cove with nice snorkeling and dive shop and easy drive to anywhere on the east or west end of the island.
