We have a wonderful 153 hectare (380 acre) property - predominately bush, but also with open farmland and with an 800 metre frontage on the Delatite River.

We offer two separate camp site listings. This listing is for the Little River Camp  (max. 4 adults) and there is a separate listing for Big River Camp (max. 8 adults). The sites are about 80 metres from each other, but both are near the river and shaded by walnut trees. Enjoy the tranquillity of your own riverside oasis. There's a good swimming hole and plenty of carp if you like to fish. Climb our 'big hill' for stunning views to Mt Buller and the High Country towards the East, and Eildon Weir to the South. The whole property is there for you to explore!

Access is a bit steep, but accessible for most 2WD, small campervans and camper trailers. Please note that our place is not suitable for caravans or RVs.

There are no toilets or shower facilities.  Campers need to BYO everything they need, and leave no trace.

There is abundant wildlife including all the usual suspects: kangaroos, wallabies, echidnas and wombats,  as well as lots of birds such as eagles, hawks, cockatoos, kookaburras, parrots and wrens.

No shooting is allowed on the property.  No trail bikes or quad bikes.

There are plenty of attractions in the general area, including local vineyards, Mt Buller and the High Country and Eildon Weir.   Mansfield is 25 mins away and its 20 mins to Goughs Bay.

Children under 14 y.o. no charge, and are not counted in the maximum of 4 people for this camp site. Please  let us know how many children are coming.

Chris was a very accommodating and gracious host as always. He took care of us by checking in and providing us with some great stories and a lot of firewood. Amazing spot and well worth the visit.

Had an awesome 3 nights here over Australia Day weekend. WOW!!! What a spot! Much needed shade from the chestnut trees was great for the days we had in the high 30's. River was quite accessible from the front of the site, and was perfect for floating in with a cold beverage to cool down. The site is very private, only 2 other families on the other site 100m away. A highlight was watching the sun set on the hills as the deer and kangaroos came out to feed at dusk!
Our only gripe was a couple of rowdy campers upstream on private property on the opposite side of the river. Nothing you can do about that, and its not a reflection the site itself.
Chris was great, came to meet us and had a good chat, even went so far as to lend me a few books to read as i had forgotten to put mine in!
In summary, we loved the place and our time here, we'll definitely be back!!

River is great to float in and cool down.Plenty of shade.

Little river camp was an amazing and peaceful stay, we could have easily stayed longer. The ground was flat and under the shade of walnut trees and we had a pop up camper. One might struggle to get a very high van under the tree canopy. Plenty of room for the annex or pullout awning with views to the river side which is just a short walk down the bankside. The water was warm and it was easy to get a kyak in from the camp .
Plenty of bird life, we saw eagles, scarlet honeyeaters, yellow faced honeyeaters, superb fairy wrens, noisy friar birds, cockatoos, magpies, galahs, tawny frogmouths, silvereyes, pigeons, and i'm sure I misssd more that were around. We saw black wallabies, kangaroos, and wild deer. Mobile reception was quite ok. We'll be back!

Fantastic site, the host Nick was a genuinely great guy who made sure everything was good. Loved camping by the deletite and a fantastic to explore the property. I'm reluctant to say anything more because I'm afraid the place will be permanently booked out and I wont be able to get back again!! Honestly can't think of anything which could make it any better, perfect weekend
