We camped as a large group (5 caravans) with lots of young kids and dogs on Peters land over Easter. We absolutely loved our stay and will return.
Close to the Long Jetty and, playground and boat ramp.
We camped near the tee trees which kept the kids safe from the road.
We found a spot that suited us and whipper snipped to tidy up the grass around our camp.

Great little spot. Loved staying here - had heaps of room and so good that we could have our dog there too. Peaceful and quiet and so nice with the water and long jetty just across the road. Definitely will stay here again.

We had no real expectations going into this campground, as it was our first real experience using hipcamp. We were impressed with the location as it was directly opposite the main beach and close to long jetty. The large space and quiet surroundings allowed our children to run free. The site was a little uneven and had some long grass so parking the caravan took a few turns. March flies were our unexpected guests of a morning and evening. Overall we believe the price was a little high but we did enjoy our time here.

It is what it is. A uneven sticky patch of camp stuck between two roads. Over priced. Not close to amenities as advertisesd. Severely hot as it is not close to beach. No amount of bug repellent will save you even in dry weather. Good luck

Enjoyed camping on Peters Land! The location is great. Close to the jetty. The field is spacious and there are trees from one side and so we put our tent closer to the trees. There were 2 more tents on the field but we even didn’t even hear people camping there.

Property is exactly as stated. Huge empty block. If you’re looking for a peaceful quiet place to camp with tons and tons of room for your self, children and dogs this is absolutely perfect! 30 seconds from the beachfront and central to everything in the area. Will definitely be staying again

It was a very long block across the road from the long jetty but the grass was really long and it was very difficult to find a flat spot to camp. The first 3rd of the block is swampy, even after several days of warm sunshine. There was less privacy than we thought and loud dogs next door. Was overpriced but we did stay Good Friday.

It felt like we stayed in a big paddock with trees/shrubs lining one side of the property only & houses/sheds on the other side. There were no water views. It felt quite exposed, the ground had long grass and was quite uneven with pot holes. We had major issues with the sand fly's & mosquitos. No amount of insect repellant or incense coils worked. We ended up with many bites and very irritated skin. I think the cost was excessive for what it was especially that there were no facilities at all even thought there was an old house on the property. I am actually finding a lot of hosts are charging exorbitant rates..!! I won't be using the hip camp site in future.
