This little spot is nestled in on the banks of Brahams Creek, just near where Iron Brook trickles into it. This area is beautiful, with lots of tree and maiden hair ferns and moss covered logs. If you like to sleep to the sound of a bubbling brook, this is the site for you (slightly sloping).

It is recommended that campers on be fully self contained & BYO toilet, digging holes is not sufficient. Facilities at the top of the hill are available for use and included in your fee, but this is a fair walk from the campsite.

The two sites are either side of the creek.

Iron Brook Donkey Farm is located on rolling hills of mountain pasture, backing on to the Yarra State Forest. Bushwalk along the little creek among tall trees and majestic tree ferns, or just sit in a deck chair and take in the exquisite views at the top of the hill. Multiple tracks head through the Yarra State Forest where you can wind your way along dirt roads through to Noojee, Powelltown, or Reefton, each of which have a cosy pub at the end of the drive.

The donkey farm is situated conveniently, halfway between the popular redwood forest, and the giant Ada tree walk. Just chill in your own time, or book an activity or a donkey ride. Donkeys can take riders up to 60kg

We do allow pets, but this MUST be discussed with us prior to booking as we have strict rules around this. We also allow campfires only when fire restrictions aren't in place - which is often all summer.

Children under 3 are free, but due to insurance purposes, please mention them in the comments

This property has an overall capacity to ensure that our number of visitors remain low. This not only ensures that campers recieve the space and peace they look for in a campsite like this, but also so that we can ensure the bathrooms can be kept clean and not overloaded. This is also a part of our COVID safe plan.

Due to this overall capacity it is important that you book for the number of people that you intend to have stay, as while we try to accomodate increases to booking numbers, they are not guaranteed unless booked. If we have met overall capacity then we may not be able to approve increases to booking numbers. This is for the comfort and safety of all our visitors. Thank you

My family and I very much enjoyed camping.

Whilst it is remote from everyone yet close enough to flushing toilets and a hot shower if you take the 4WD sites otherwise the top paddock works everyone else.

We love this part of the Victoria and camping at the picturesque Brahams Creek allows us to explore to our hearts content.

Great spot far enough out from Warburton to be away from the bustle but close enough to still head in for supplies or coffee. Great host and beautiful donkeys!

We enjoyed the solitude of the camp site... we were hundreds of metres from the nearest person. At night there were no lights. Just the sound of a creek running past. Exactly what we were after.

Quite and peaceful, down in bottom paddock we had plenty of space to set up trailer.

So many animals to keep the kids entertained, with donkey rides, chickens and goats

I booked to stay near the creek which was a gorgeous and isolated location but due to not having a 4WD ended up staying up near the farm next to the donkeys and facilities. We loved staying here. First off, the donkeys are absolutely gorgeous and love cuddles. It was such an honour to camp near them and say hello to them in the morning. The bathroom had a shower and electricity and there was even a second toilet. Everything very well kept and clean. Linda was an exceptional host and very accommodating. We would stay again for sure :)
