Located approximately 3 hours from Melbourne, this property is within a short range of the snowfields and the bike trails around Bright and Beechworth. Experience the local wineries, the Milawa cheese factory and Lake Buffalo. Explore the breath-taking scenery while walking, cycling or paddling through. We are just an hour from Mt Hotham and Mt Buffalo for ski season.

I loved the place but the only concern I had is the horse poo. There are just too many scattered near and in the campsite and honestly I don’t find it nice setting up my tent or having a meal with horse poo around. But otherwise, the view and creek are amasing! Had a nice time! :)
Loretta’s slice of heaven was wonderful, my partner and I had a wonderful stay amongst the beautiful lush greenery and it’s plentiful creatures. The stream along the campsites was beautiful to have a dip in and the fire pits were nice and big. Both Gary and Loretta were wonderful hosts and made us feel really welcome. Would love to do a return trip with friends!
A great spot to kick back and relax. Peaceful surroundings with cheeky kookaburras keeping an eye on things. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Big campsite with beautiful surroundings and large fire. Easy drive to local towns. Will definitely be back in summer to swim in that creek! Easy check in and out. Thanks Loretta and Gary. We had a great time
We loved our time at High Country Paradise, a spectacular property with well spaced sites, excellent camp fire provisions and a view worth waking up to every morning.

What a beautiful spot!
The camping sites are well spaced, clean and convenient. The two toilets are flushing, with a little sink and kept clean. There are no showers but a beautiful clear creek if you're brave enough to go the cold.
It's a perfect distance out of Myrtleford. Close enough for convenience but far enough to enjoy nature.
