Very clean cabin. Mitch & family were very accommodating. They grow fruit n veg in fruit of cabin so summer would be a lovely time to see & hopefully eat some of those :) I visited lake Eden and the famous hill farmstead brewery. Nearby Craftsbury is good for food. Next time I’d make sure I stopped by town of Calais (tiny) as it is a town of yesteryear and Elmore park which has good reviews.
Beautiful land with great views on the mountains. The cabin is great as well, super cute. Camping spot in the forest with fire ring and table. There was even supplemental camping chairs by the cabin. Host is friendly and glad to help out!
This cabin is sooo sweet! It's the perfect size for two people to lounge, eat at the small table, or make art on the floor. The property is nice and the hosts were very kind. While you're in town, check out the Craftsbury General Store, it's a lovely artsy place with prepared food and groceries and a big chocolate selection! We will definitely be back.
Beautiful cabin! It lives up to the pictures. Plenty of extra blankets and the insulation kept us warm. Hosts are super organized. They gave easy directions and a lot of info on Local to-dos. Check out the local Genny Stores! Plenty of stars. We could see the Milky Way and saw a meteor, too! Quick, fun hiking trail through the property. Ten out of ten!
Cute cozy cabin
Mitch's cabin is super cute and perfect for a little car camping / glamping getaway. The bed was very comfy with provided blankets and sheets. The meditation cushions and yoga mat were thoughtful touches. They are planning to fix the wood stove so the fire can last longer and burn more steadily, but we were able to use it to warm up on the rainy nights we were here in late October and it worked for us. Definitely bring a flashlight, lantern, or candles for additional light in the evenings and something to cook on (ask nicely and he may let you use a coleman two burner) and you'll be golden! The land is beautiful too! Thank you for a great stay!
A perfect peaceful retreat from which to explore the area. Mitchell and Heidi are so kind. I feel like I should've paid an additional dog rental fee for getting to hang out with their pup, Hank. This place and the experience is a treasure.
