Site 2 Sunrise Farm North Side
Winter Camping Ideal
Our stay occurred in the end of December when HipCamps are hard to find with a 16ft trailer in New England. This spot was perfect for winter camping (or any camping). So good we will be back when there’s snow! The site is pretty level, has power and has access that’s easy in and out if it’s snowing. The views and property are terrific, with lots of trails and dirt roads to run, bike or hike. Site 2 is next to an uninhabited barn but that didn’t take away from the view or our privacy. This was our third stay at one of Roy’s sites and we’re so happy we already have two more dates booked. Roy has found the balance of checking in but giving you 100% privacy.

A relaxing getaway!
We stayed at Wishbone Left and loved it! Peaceful, quiet, private and beautiful! The sound of the running river is so relaxing. Roy was so accommodating and a great host. We had everything we needed. We would definitely come back to this spot and host!

Sunrise farm #3 Site: “LOTUS POND”
Took my wife out camping for the first time, and it was amazing! Roy’s property is absolutely breathtaking and he’s a very helpful host. His map definitely makes it easy to navigate too! If you’re looking for a nice VT getaway, I definitely recommend this location. It’s also nice if you’re staying for more than a night or two and would like to visit nearby Brattleboro for dinner and drinks before settling in around the campfire! 🏕️

Wishbone Left by Brook S. Newfane
Great Getaway
The site at Wishbone Left was a little muddy with all the rain so Roy proactively offered Wishbone Right and even had a string of lights on to guide us as we arrived in the dark. It was spacious and had everything we needed, including electricity. He gave us a tour of the area and showed us some beautiful running trails which we took advantage of a couple of times. This site is very secluded well thought out.
