RV Camping at Milldale Farm's private nature retreat

Located in the lush upper Connecticut River Valley and surrounded by forest, Milldale Farm is conveniently located 10 minutes from interstate 91, 1.5 miles from Lake Fairlee, and near to popular Appalachian hiking trails.

Emphasis on the "camping" aspect: We do not provide an electric or waste hookup or waterfill for our RV guests. You're off the grid here, parked in our camping field, and you'll have to be as self sufficient as possible. We have one RV space with privacy and a view.

Outdoor showers and porta-johns (Hot water is limited, please be efficient)

Plan to be as self-sufficient as possible: water , Blankets and sleeping bags • Cooking gear (gas stove / bbq), supplies, & food • Flashlight, rain gear, bug/tick repellent • Shower and bathing supplies (towels, organic soap, etc) • Books, yoga mat, earplugs

Weapons, fireworks, large parties • Being intoxicated is not permitted • Camp fires require special permission • Dogs okay w/ additional fee; please contact host directly

Yoga classes (fee based) • Massage & chiropractic services (fee based) • Sauna (fee based) • Horseback riding (fee based) • Hiking the local trails - check out Bald Top trail, a 5 minute walk up the road, whose peak overlooks the White Mountains • Mountain biking the local trails • Swimming & fishing at nearby Lake Fairlee - check out Treasure Island for family beach time • Stand up paddle boarding • Hammock lounging • Weekend night bonfires

There is no cell phone service in the valley. Cell service picks up again 10-minutes down the road near Lake Fairlee at the intersection of route 5 and route 244.

The Wifi network is shared by our on-site practitioners who take precedence over its usage. Wifi is available to guests outside the wellness center at the red barn at these times:

Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu – After 5pm until 8am the next morning

Fri, Sat, Sun – All day, unless otherwise specified

We know that sometimes being in touch is important but we do encourage an offline experience as you enjoy our campus and services. Unplug and connect with nature.

Wings Market is also nearby on route 5 for food supplies and fuel. We operate under a “Pack in / Pack out” policy — this means that anything you bring needs to leave with you, including and especially any food scraps, which should not be left on the ground anywhere.

Fire safety is paramount on our property as we are surrounded by forest and rain has been relatively scarce. All open fires must be in designated spaces and require permission from your host before lighting. Drown all fires when done with water provided.

Bears, coyotes, owls are among the most frequent visitors to our farm. Bears love food. While Bubbles the local black bear is harmless, she will do what she can to gain access to your food. Keep it in the cabin or in the car and all doors properly shut. If you happen to see her, give her plenty of space. Coyotes come out at night to sing in the woods. Keep your pet on a leash at all times if you take them out after sunset. Owls communicate at night, as well. We, again, recommend earplugs if nature’s night noises might keep you awake.

We look forward to having you here for a retreat!

This place is amazing! Perfect place to come unwind and camp in a beautiful spot! I opted to take a hike with one of the host, Wes, and my dog and I really enjoyed it. I would highly recommend Milldale Farms and I hope to be back!

Wes and Kyla are warm, gracious hosts. We stayed in the RV space for a weekend yoga retreat. The property is beautiful and restorative. They were responsive to any simple needs that arose and were always easy to find and happy to help. They also provided an evening of sauna for our group which wasn't planned, but greatly enjoyed. Can't wait to return.

We had a great time. The camp site was beautiful and the host was very attentive. Came by a couple of times to check in on us. Firewood for the private fire pit for only a few $$. We will probably be back!

The host was very welcoming, and gave a great description of the sites. They communicated with us continuously with helpful suggestions and tips for the surrounding area and activities. The farm is beautiful, with great spots for both RVs and tents, all relatively private. We highly recommend this beautiful spot!

What a great experience! Our host was quick to respond and met us upon arrival. The property was quiet and restful. We never made it to yoga, only because we were so relaxed we over slept. Would highly recommend and we will return.

Perfect spot to get away and disconnect. My wife and I stayed two nights off grid and had a wonderful time.
Our host was very friendly, made sure we had everything we needed, and offered up some great local advice. We took his advice on a hike right next to the camp and the trails took us up to a great view of the white mountains off bald top in Fairlee town forest.
We were amazed at how quiet the farm was and peaceful doesn't fully describe it. There was a great spot for campfires overlooking the fields that we used every night. We had never seen so many fireflys in our life.
